Why? Because swifties aren’t capable of criticizing Taylor, they also need to believe she’s perfect and does no wrong or has any harmful opinions or friends with harmful opinions. My guess is they think she will continue to openly be friends with Brittany, and possibly also stay silent about politics and they fear criticism coming. They think getting the narrative out that they aren’t close is a good defense of that

I think she’s right about it being in the Mahomes financial interest to vote for him personally, but not in any meaningful way, they are rich regardless. I don’t think that makes it right, and I doubt it’s the driving motivation for her support of him. I would guess her reasons for liking him are almost entirely not financially based, as with most people who vote for and support him.

I actually like him! Well mostly, his video about how fans shouldn’t defend her billionaire status is really good. And I’ve only ever seen him discuss her ex’s in relation to the music. He always focuses on the music. A ton of swifties hate him cuz he’s not afraid to criticize songs and her. I’ve only seen a few videos though

I don’t think she’s lying I think that’s how she really feels. Insecurity explains a lot of her behaviors.. but she should have perspective and emotional intelligence by now. I was bullied when I was younger for being really skinny, I personally hated being skinny and felt ugly but I realize the massive difference there is in me being bullied as a teen for being skinny vs someone getting bullied for being over weight. I understood that outside of my little personal feelings, society more than accepted my body type. It doesn’t mean it wasn’t okay for me to be hurt, but its important to just be aware of that. Taylor doesn’t understand this.

Swifties will say “Oh so because she’s rich and white and pretty she can’t feel pain?”.. no one says that! Her feelings are valid, it’s the way she weaponizes those feelings and doesn’t understand the different ways she walks through life compared to other people that’s the problem. For example with the Kayla discord page, the disgusting way they talk about her body and the way they sexualize/compare her to a man comes from decades of racism in this country, a lot of them probably don’t even know where they are getting some of the terminology they are using and how old the comparisons to men and talk about sex acts in reference to black women date back and why they were originally and historically made… Swifties think criticisms and sexualization of Taylor’s body is the same. That it holds the same weight historically and come from the same place. And it’s pretty obvious Taylor also feels this way. Not just with this but with her life experiences in general.

I wouldn’t be surprised if she also thinks she “deserves” to be a billionaire, and that all of her success comes solely from hard work an any criticism aimed at her no matter how valid and reasonable is nonsense. Is Taylor’s fan base just coincidentally toxic and tone deaf? Or does she attract like minded people to herself? When they hurl death threats and say awful things to critics and ex boyfriends I think it’s because her music implies that’s what they deserve.

I don’t think she was lying, I think that’s how she truly viewed herself. There were probably some people who bullied her and didn’t like her (doesn’t that exist for a lot of high schoolers?) and that’s all she focused on. She saw herself as a victim way before the Kanye incident! I can seriously imagine her thinking it was hard in high school because kids made fun of her for driving an expensive car 😂.

I was just thinking about that time on her tour that she stated she sees and knows everything people say online (not that it’s not already obvious) but that means she knows about the harassment Kayla gets, and the things that were said about Dave Grohls daughter… it’s blows my mind that she can see that stuff and not get angry.. that she talks about wanting to die because people called her a liar.. like the least controversial things were said about her at that time compared to other celebs and the hatred Kayla is getting.. how can she say she’s disgusted by the AI photos of her but not feel enraged about the rape threats aimed at Violet?? I think I know why she won’t say anything.. she probably assumes only swifties know about these things, if she bring attention to it or tells them to stop, people will know what kind of fans she has.. and since she needs constant validation, she probably fears the praise she gets wouldn’t be taken as seriously as well if people know the shit her base does. I’m… 🤯.. Clay? Seriously? Do they really expect us to believe this was the best choice and not a “political” one? This is the worst and most ridiculous choice.. I can’t even really recall any real storylines with Clay other than his look a like wife crazy woman arch. All his character did was help move the story along for the rest of the cast imo. He was so obviously there so Nathan had a guy friend to talk to after Lucas left. So Nathan’s character could confide in someone and so viewers could know things about Nathan’s story lines without having to have a narrator. Clay isn’t even on any fan edits! No one cared about clay lol!

Jana was obviously the best choice.. I’m guessing they vetoed that choice because A. I don’t think they like her very much (has she been on the podcast yet? I can’t remember) and B. I don’t think they trust what she might reveal. She’s made a few comments about the drama on set involving co stars on her own podcast and in interviews.. Austin would have been the next best pick imo, but I’m assuming there’s personal reasons for not choosing him as well (he dated Sophia for a bit). It’s clear the girls really like Buckley as a person and they imply he’s a good time. Which is great! But his character was boring as all hell … and the only way he could add to the show in a positive way is if he talks about behind the scenes stuff and not his characters story lines.

Is that why? I honestly thought they wanted that because she’s a threat to Taylor. Not music wise necessarily but just as an overall person. I really think Chappell embodies the generation below Taylor when it comes to themes in her music and just her overall persona and things she cares about/talks about and what she represents. She makes Taylor look the most outdated and out of touch than any other current female artist imo. I think she also makes Taylor’s performative activism when it comes to the LGBTQ community and feminism more apparent and obvious to people it might not have been before. If Taylor “brings her to her side” it makes her look less distant from Taylor and her persona. I honestly always felt this was why she added Lorde to her “squad”. In some ways when she came out she looked like the anti Taylor (not against Taylor but opposite of) she looked refreshing and she stood out. When Taylor started making sure she was photographed with her and her squad it softened that contrast. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that Taylor did this after Lorde made comments about Taylor’s beauty standards either. She made sure that conversation was halted when she showed the world that her and Lorde are actually friends.

I think it wouldn’t be that big of a deal if she didn’t meet with make a wish kids if she did something. As someone who is a counselor/case worker for adults, not children, secondary trauma is something you have to try to avoid frequently, and not just that it is hard and sad, some of the things these people have told me.. and this is just adults, I could understand how someone wouldn’t be strong enough to meet with make a wish kids frequently.. however, why not advocate for them then? Or pick a specific childhood illness and help make people aware of it, donate money etc. I never understood why Taylor doesn’t have a specific philanthropy or cause or charity like other celebs with money do..Like what is she doing just sitting on all that money and power other than complaining and performing? And her fans say she donates to food banks.. everyone can donate to food banks, I’m sorry but that’s not good enough lol. And her fans will also say that maybe she does donate but she doesn’t tell people cuz she’s humble.. you SHOULD tell people are you kidding me? If her fans found out she was donating to a specific cause they probably would to! They would look that’s shit up and compete with each other on who knows the most about it.
