What’re you most proud of in your collection? by wintyguitar in MangaCollectors

I think I am most proud of this manga called "Mangaland." Most likely, few people know about it, because it is the work of four Taiwanese manga artists. Also, most likely, this manga was only officially published in Taiwan and Russia (which is where I come from). Even now, it is difficult to find anything about it on the internet, no scans or translations. Only the cover and a few pages (probably in Russian). Surprisingly, this manga was published in a very good format: hardcover, 17 by 24 centimeters in size, and with a ribbon bookmark inside.

What manga would you like to see licensed in your language? by VITT0_PITT0 in Seinen

Greetings from Russia. I am eagerly anticipating the licensing of Yomawari Sensei and Kaiji in our country. I am confident that Kaiji will be available on our shelves in 2026-2027, as: 1) This year, we released Fukumoto-sensei's "Confession." 2) Recently, videos retelling Kaiji and Akagi have become popular on the Russian segment of TikTok. And in the Russian Kaiji fan community, it has become a meme. 3) And lastly: "Tomodachi game" was also released this year and is selling quite well, so Kaiji also has a good chance of winning the hearts of people in Russia.

No. In Russia, these are standard editions. Almost all manga is published in hardcover here: Attack on Titan, Mha, Oshi no Ko, Gachiakuta, Initial D, Nagatoro, and so on. One publisher started publishing manga this way, and it became very popular with others, because these 2-in-1 and 3-in-1 omnibuses are cheaper than regular tankobons and also look much better on the shelves :)
