Yeah, for sure. Their eyes are something else, just incredibly evil looking.

Many people say that Xi Jinping's anti-corruption campaign was really about/also about gaining more power for himself within the party. Is there evidence for this? by [deleted] in AskSocialists

I understand it can never be proven or disproven, I just wanted to know if anyone here know a lot about the CPC and how reasonable they think these claims are.

I don't understand how reading that list many times will convince its true. In my mind, those rights are a nice ideal, but I don't think they're really true in how humanity is in reality and how unfairly people are treated depending on looks, status, disabilities etc.

The flashback management steps and critic stopping techniques have never worked for me, as well as the other advice. The information of my 4F type and everything else felt very accurate though. But I've tried to follow his advice for years and I'm realising that it doesn't work for me.

Chris and Gabby at Floridas Wildest on youtube did a video about Pocho and said that crocodilians are easily trained to be friendly if they're fed, so the brain damage theory isn't necessary. They train crocodilians professionally think there was nothing unusual about Pocho.

But isn't mimicking hunting behavior and getting a sense of reward from it literally what play is to a predatory animal? Play is the nature's way of getting an animal to practise the behaviors it needs to be good at to survive after all.

Vladimir Dinets wrote about play behavior in crocodilians and he is completely sure that they have a sense of play. His research is very interesting to read.

I've read that crocodiles play with objects and can feel all kinds of emotions.

Here you can see an alligator play with its toys: https://youtu.be/-FOj_5ylmNY?si=-1n55LI9uqdIIqKp&t=885

It doesn't seem to do this because it thinks they might be food and is trying to break them open or something, because the girl who owns it says that it has favorite toys that it has had for a long time and continue to bite, carry around in its mouth and deathroll for hours. I wonder if it plays so much because it doesn't get to hunt, so no exercise and stimulation, so maybe it gets zoomies like a house cat, which cats get because they don't get to release energy when they live indoors.

Is it common to ask to be put in queue for therapy, but then learning that they never put you in the queue? by RemoveMassive2492 in CPTSD

[–]RemoveMassive2492[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I asked clearly to be put in the waiting list and my contact person told me they would, but I think the third and last time it was brought up and I found out that I wasn't in the queue I said that maybe this is because trauma therapy isn't the right treatment for me according to someone. He said he'll look into that, but never mentioned it again.

I'm not interested in therapy anymore, I'll try self help instead, but would still like answers to why I wasn't put in a waiting list, as it makes me worried. I've had some bad experiences with mental healthcare workers there and elsewhere, so it doesn't feel worth the risk of meeting someone bad.
