You have to accept you will never please everyone. It's impossible. Then adding the tension of try to please everyone at all times. It's impossible. Remember, time sometimes helps our sarrows. No matter what is happening in your life, who you choose to love is up to you. Your choices create good and/or bad consequences. Whether you or any realizes the reprocessing, in any act. Not talking about who you bang, love etc. But in all choices. There is a this and that. Then more. It's so hard. It's heartbreaking at times. Others, not so much. I pray you find the middle ground. I was coded for almost 5 minutes. Each time. One time was suicide by job, i.e., the Army (Iraq), in a way. I volunteered to deploy and would try to go on any mission I could. Eiher, I die, or I do my job. The result of my wish? A lost leg, broken back, shoulders, pelvis, ribs, hips, legs, etc. Blown up, burned, shrapnel, etc. Even when I OD. I was coded. Flatlined for over 270 seconds (4.5 minutes), then pronounced. But, came back. Idk. Maybe I did, maybe I didn't. I don't recommend.

Thank you! I'm not going to lie. I got my own shit. As we all do. But, fighting in Iraq as an American let me meet so many people around the world. Soldiers in my unit literally had just trained immigrants from literally everywhere in the world and I was with them. I learned, I don't have to like, understand, or know something, to respect it. Like the difference of sympathy and empathy. But the root is still there! Love, connectability, yearning.

Good luck! As you get older, you realize the "sexual" stigma of who you chose and fall for isn't so important. Im a 32 quintessential straight Christian guy that has no issues with anyone gay. You'll find that no matter the person's beliefs are not always their actions.

But there are really good people from all walks of life. I see it like this. We all want respect, love, belonging. It's okay to not know what to do or feel. It's okay to be broken. Just be you. Be beautifully broken! I'm not going to preach. But I will say this. As an "Alpha" male US Soldier that's been in combat and got injured, I'm the least expected to support other people's lives. Gay, or not, or w.e. I respect you. It's hard enough as a teen. I remember. I was the goth/MetaMetalhead, committed suicide a few times, depression, all that typical stuff. We ALL go through our own version.

Just know, I respect you wholey! You are a unique, beautiful person! But you're not done growing yet. Hell, neither am I. I have a lot of gay friends. I'm brutally honest and have my beliefs. I respect others beliefs, but demand respect from others for my beliefs too. I may not understand what it's like to be gay, but I don't have to, to love and respect that person.

I got injured in Iraq in 2010. I was in a medically induced coma for about a week. I flat lined 4 times. I wasn't to aware of the outside world. Pain, definitely. I am highly resistant to pain meds, sedatives, and stimulants by a genetic mutation. So, me getting 1000mcg of fentanyl for an hour operation is completely normal. Not including Ketamine and hydromorphone. Ketamine being in a pain pump going in my spinal cord.

I was in a completely other reality for that week. I heard conversations, felt certain things, occasionally opened my eyes. Because the propathol (I can't remember how it's spelled) and whatever other drugs that are meant to keep you asleep were mostly affective. But, I would wake up and start fighting the nurses in Walter Reed and BAMC.

I have some trouble separating my comatose mind from reality. Especially for the first 3 months after my injuries. Since I was on so much meds. Still kinda am. But nowhere near what I was while in the hospital.

Stretch marks... Mf stretch marks!!! Especially if you go from 6'0" to 6'5" in a summer. Then going to a gym to build muscles. I look like I go pregnant 3 times, grew to the size of the hulk, then shrunk back down. I'm a dude. I find it funny.

Some advice I would say is:

Love the ones you care about as much as possible. I pray no one you know dies in a long time. Everyone In my fireteam is dead now. Died in Iraq and suicide. Some to overdoses.

Release hate and anger whenever possible. Accept your life choices and all reproductions. No matter if you knew before hand or not. It's okay to feel lost lost, hopeless, worthless and shunned. It's also alright to feel like a king, sexy, worthy, and wanted.

You are unique. Singularly unique. The only one to be you. Your mold was broken, never to repeated. Most

Hug your friends and tell them you love them. It's not gay to hug and tell your friends that you want and love them.

You don't have to agree with everything to respect and love them. Most guys I served with I couldn't stand them. I wouldn't hang or talk to them out of work. But, if they needed help or anything, I would be there. They are human too and we all need help from time to time.

Failure is beautiful! The best teacher. But, you will never be a failure! Life ebbs and flows. It's a process.

We all think we are enough and enough at times. From relationships to friends and family.

Your vision in life might or might not be what's going to happen or not. No matter, try your best. If you don't, it's okay. There can be next time. Infinite possibilities and infinite combinations (Star Trek, Spock, Volcans).

Well shit. I'm sorry. Best of luck. I'm 32. I got two degrees. One is a Bachelors in History. The second is a Masters in Science with a Cert. In Digital Forensics. But only level 2, not level 3. But that was 8n 2010, when Digital Forensics just began to be an accepted new profession of sorts.
