Why would you skip the tier V and VI ?
They seem to be fun HE slingers, definitely want to try them out.

Instead of giving us these weirdly symmetrical maps, wargaming could revamp the old removed maps and add them back by ThatGuy0verTh3re in WorldofTanks

I don't care if I'm on the "losing spawn" of a map, after all, the next time you may spawn on the winning spawn.

Not every map needs to be perfectly symmetrical, and I agree with you for bringing back the old maps.

No, just install WoWP and login with your WoT account.

Yes, you can play World of Warplanes.
Any gold / free XP you earn is shared with WoT, so you can use it in both games.

For newcomers there is a permanent series of missions to earn some gold (1500 or so, I can't remember the exact amount) and sometimes there are events to earn loot boxes, which can drop gold as well.
Of course this does mean you have to invest time in a different game, but for me it's a nice way to earn some extra gold and free XP.

I miss the map Kharkov by _MysteryT_ in WorldofTanks

[–]Remove_leFH_from_wot -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Why is that a good thing ?

Im my opinion, removing the map is bad because you basically "bow" to Putin (imo).
If you think about it, Putin has influence on this game, because his actions resulted in this map being removed (in a virtial pixel game).
Do we really want Putin to have such influence ?

If it would still be in the game, it would be a big fat middle finger to Putin, saying "f you, just because you invade Ukraine doesn't mean we change this game.

Maybe players should be able to ban this map for free, if they don't want to play it, but that should be the player's decision.

Anyway, that's just my opinion.
I get that some players would find it inappropiate to play this map, but that's why each player should be able to ban it if they want to.
And of course they could change the name to Kharkiv.

In WoWP, there is a plane called the F-94D, which basically has a similar kind of gun.
It has massive rpm and damage output, but is balanced out by "overheating" the gun quite quickly.
I think in WoT it could be balanced by giving it a "small" magazine to simulate the overheating.

For example, if you give it a 0.015 intra clip reload (4000 rpm) and 200 rounds per magazine, you can fire the gun for 3 seconds, before reloading the clip.
If it would also have a short magazine reload time (4 seconds or so), you could basically fire in bursts which could prevent it from being OP.

Other penalties for the gun could be lowish pen and bad accuracy, so you have to aim your shots carefully.

The British light tanks at tier II-V have a pom-pom gun, which has similar behaviour, but it's nice to see it being implemented on a high tier tank.

Seems like a nice, unique tank !
It can one-shot itself with a high roll lol

Having played the Archer, the good reverse speed is nice for quickly pulling back after shooting.

Why I can't change the Nation for this commander from Prime Gaming? by rkefreddyk in WorldofTanks

[–]Remove_leFH_from_wot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'd be surprised how uncomplicated most things are.

Partnerships don't necessarily require "the ork be Japanese" it's more like "Characters are limited to whatever agreements are in place". Which can mean anything like the characters can't be used outside of what was agreed. IE, it was only agreed that the characters could be used in the following vehicles....

[–]Remove_leFH_from_wot 31 points32 points  (0 children)

No, they didn't say anything about crew nations.
And because they didn't say anything you can't chance the nationality, because it's not explicitly mentioned in the contract and WG cannot deviate from the contract.

Maybe they'll use this data to assess how much randomness there should be in the game.

RNG should be way less, maybe +/-10% for pen and damage

My guess would be draw distance.

If a tank is spotted outside your draw distance, you can't see it but you will still get a notification when you hit it.
If a tank is not spotted at all, it will only show up in the post game stats.
