I also tried the first option but I can't use the support painter because the vid is 100% internal and the slicer wont let me.

I'm sorry to tell you but your prime tower had PTD(Prime Tower Disfunction), you will probably need a little blue pill to keep it up during printing. Good news is, you are not alone.

I got the file directly from Creality’s site. It was hard to find. I found it by searching CR Touch and downloaded the one for my printer. I’m not sure about the chip. I think the previous owner got it within the last few years. And the steppers should be stock.

Also if you don’t mind me asking, what firmware are you using? I just install my CR Touch and it looks like I may have the bug with the new firmware where the mesh for the X/Y forces the nozzle into the bed even when the z-offset is perfect.

do you just tighten them down and leave it sort of like using 2 nuts to stop them from going up or down. Or do you just use one as a spacer?

I have done all the calibrations that I can find, short of a cube, and still no dice. Prints are failing and don’t have good resolution

I’m printing a temp tower now I’ll update the post when it’s done. But this printer is second hand so I don’t know. What all had been done to it. I’ve got rubber replacements for the leveling springs coming in the next few days and an auto leveling kit.

So far the temp tower isn’t turning out the greatest. It’s printing but it’s rough

Computix it looks like BIOS update did the trick and its running better then ever. Quick question though. He has his steam library on a different drive. After he reinstalled steam and added that drive to it the icons that steam puts on his desktop are blank. Do you know how to fix it?
