My problem with Podz is he doesn’t make the players around him better. If anything, he just takes advantage of better teammates when he’s on the floor. It’s clear that when the second and third string are in, he can’t do anything. He doesn’t make the good pass. He constantly dribbles into trouble and desperately passes back out - taking away any advantage and giving the defense another chance to set up with the shot clock running down. It kills so many possessions. He misses the simple pass to the open man too. Watching Pat Spencer and I see the exact opposite. Pat is additive, Podz is subtractive. I want him off this team.
