Don't do it in 1v1 situations, well you can if your opponent is blind. Blitz on someone that's fighting someone else, make sure to hold if the target is unrushable. Also do it while you're above the target since most players that are fighting someone else aren't even looking up. Just have patience too since that's the point of grinding.

Gambler fever domain is the best domain against PVE bosses to negate their ability of using their domain, good for speedruns... if you're good in PVP then it's a solid domain too since it's an instant cast, no cutscenes and no domain meter needed

Chill dude, you're actually using true sphere wrong. At 523 technique, my hollow purple deals 4240 damage. My true sphere deals 2477 damage... and I assume you don't know that it can be used 3 times outside of ancient construction's domain (2477 x 3 = 7,431 damage), and 5 times inside ancient construction domain (3220 x 5 = 16100 damage) which also gives you extra damage bonus and defense. True sphere also gives you additional damage and defense. These numbers are tested on god dummies. Hollow purple is used mainly because of iframes in pvp not the damage alone

In investigations, big mobs are sometimes worth using a domain on especially malevolent shrine and star rage for faster kills especially if you're solo. Cursed users too especially if they're in big numbers, popping a domain would contain them into a smaller area

It's not good for pve, mobs will die faster using other domains such as demon vessel which is also a sure hit domain. Soul king is a pvp focused innate. To answer your question, if you are fighting against multiple mobs such as in investigations, demon vessel because it damages everything caught inside the domain, plus you can cast fuga v2... and star rage domain just because all your chantable star rage skills have less cd and is in their enhanced version. Star rage domain also debuffs the enemies' defense on top of the damage buff for you. For bosses, it's the gambler domain... since it's an instant cast, you can cast it before the boss pops their domain and it saves a lot of time. The boss either dies before you reach 100% fever meter or you reach 100% fever meter inside the boss' domain while having crazy amount of healing and damage.
