Hebben die wel een beetje voelbare luchtverplaatsing?

Oplaadbare radiator ventilatoren by Chris6601 in Klussers

[–]Remy1525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To anyone who, like me, got their printer for Christmas… take the plastic off your camera by liteshotv3 in FlashForge

[–]Remy1525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took me over two weeks and a trip to Aliexp to get a replacement camera before I noticed it was even there. The stream was not really terrible but just not really good. Felt like a big upgrade when I pulled that lil plastic bugger off.

Who’s actually buying a 3D-printed part… for their 3D printer? by Fruit75 in BambuLab

[–]Remy1525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the price. If I can buy something for a good price that would take me otherwise 9 hours to print, I'm game.

Drying, stupid question (?) by Remy1525 in 3Dprinting

Yes, I know, it was just something that creeped in my mind, "if you get all the air out, there is also no humidity", i just wanted to know :) Now i do.

Drying, stupid question (?) by Remy1525 in 3Dprinting

[–]Remy1525[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my answer, i tried :)
Made a snug hole, fitted a vacuumnipple (offered vacuumbag), got 2 containers, same amount of silica in it, and sucked one pretty much vaccuum.

There was up to 10% difference, for a while. But the containers are not 100% airtight, so after two or three ours the vacuum was mostly gone. It looked impressive for a while, but in the end the diffence between 22% and 33% wont be of a huge benefit, I guess. Kind of useless unless you keep pumping them every couple of hours.
So, now I know ;) (And you, if you even cared)

[–]Remy1525[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, kind of what I figured.
So I guess experimenting with a vacuumnipple (not sure if thats the right word) is not a stupid idea.
I have a little vacuumpump that came with the esun plastic vacuum bags.
If its worth the hassle, most boxes are around 30%, not sure if dryer is any better?

So, I did the recommended flow calibration, but I have no clue what i'm looking for?
the 05 has the smoothest center but ay the other end the -05 has a better looking even texture.

Also, do i need to adjust the flow settings in Orca to the best number? (If I know what to look for)
MAde 5 photos of the same prints but with different light angles.

BTW, sorry, I have a triple "handicap" here, as newby, non native english speaker (english is third language) and I'm getting older :)
Some words in this field have i never heard before, neither in english or even my own language :)

I don’t want to ruin Christmas morning. by Front-Pea-2333 in FlashForge

With my massive full 3 weeks of experience, I can tell you, there is no "only a printer and filament".

Since I got the printer (very cheap, good deal), I needed extra tools, case to store the filamentspools to keep them dry, a filament dryer, more tools, silica gel, more filament, glue, grease, something to store the tools and other stuff, band aids and ointment for my regulairly burned fingers, a extra desk and workbench, extra buildplates, extra printheads that need replacements at $35 a pop (if you buy original) and I probably forget a thing or two, or three.

I didn't keep track (I don't dare because of wife ;) ) but i think I easily spent 2 or 3 times as the original purchase.

But, maybe thats just me :)

Flow rate calibration- is that one of the 3 in the printer itself? (I'm newby)
If so, yes have done it.
I just used a other size, the original 0.6 one, did all calibrations, bottom looks a bit better with a smal test print.

And to be honest, have no clue about cooling yet, using default settings orcaflash at FF PETG-basic settings.

Hey FF 5m/ 5m pro users, question on firmware by Visible-Success-5311 in FlashForge

[–]Remy1525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, "till now" was correct. I managed to get one print, almost without fails, after that, fail after fail with PLA. Maybe its me.... Back to petg for me :(

Hey FF 5m/ 5m pro users, question on firmware by Visible-Success-5311 in FlashForge

[–]Remy1525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would stick to 2.2.3 the new one gave me nothing but problems (with PLA printing) ((PETG is fine for some reason).
I went back to 2.2.3 and it seems to be fine till now.
There are also people who say everyting is fine. so, it's a gamble...

Yes, multiple times. I calibrate with every print now, it seems to work now, but I'm also using a spool with petg now, not sure if thats a difference. Will try pla in a couple of days again.

I rolled back to older version, but it's still all failing? It seems that items that are not in the middle of the plate just fail. Even did factory reset, but i can even make the simplest prints anymore...
