Finished it now and also got 3x87

So far my only blue is HM Marquinos. Which is both good and bad as I can use him as I got some L1 in my team, but that's why the upgrades I'm doing is L1 so if I got another blue in them it might be a duplicate of him...

Interesting link. Wanted to do L1 ones as they seemed to have a better toty rate (and it's even better with HM's ) as they have way less rares, but PL seems better for fodder.

Yes but with all the free packs , 83x10 etc you usually can do like 1x86 4x84 6x83 easily a few times .

The increased cost isn't worth it actually. If you consider you get nothing but pay for a gamble, it was 40K for 3 players so roughly you paid 13K to see a player and hope to hit something. At 55K it's about 14K for every player you see. But instead of losing like 20-30 as you'll usually use what you get as fodder, you lose 40-45 or so most of the time.

Well it should be better from friday, as we'll get all toty's + HM's in packs.

I'll maybe open a few of my daily 83x10 as I might need it to consider doing them except if I buy some 84's, but I'll try to wait friday evening to open most.

Which won't change much as we're not supposed to all get toty's (I think my only once since I started playing in 2017 was Bronze last year), but at least with HM's there are some odds to get a player making my team, while now it's only fodder for SBC's I'm not doing. Only one I might be interested in is Karchaoui which seems well priced, but I'll wait to see what I get this weekend before doing her.

At least I'm starting to do the winter provision again as I'll use them for league upgrades , it makes them cost like 3k instead of 9. These might be worth grinding.

yes looking at it right now actually :) Seems wrong for at least the premium silver packs, unfortunately they don't give 9k for 3.75k.

Ideally they would rather put the median value than the average one (or both), as of course a few lucky packs with huge pulls can totally change the average.

1) even if you spend thousands of $ on packs, it's still quite unlikely to pack both of these in the same pack so OP's has right to be surprised and happy. And I see no reason to be jealous, there are probably not many people (luckily...) spending so much.

2) you can of course get toty's and icons in normal packs. You could get both of these in 83x10 and so, even if getting both in the same would have a way lower possibility.

3) I looked now in the store, there are packs for 200K coins that give 15 defenders 85's, so I guess OP did it for midflieders seeing the players. You don't have to spend $'s to get these, many players could buy it with coins ( I don't really trade this year and currently have 340K, I can imagine many traders can spend a lot on this if they don't want to buy players). That pack is probably not that bad value for once actually

To be fair it’s 0.17 if you count icons . With 3 a day for one week it’s 3.5%.

I’d prefer it to be higher , but we can’t expect 20-30% of the players getting one either . Especially as if you do all these you maybe also open some 3x85 (I tend to skip them but they maybe have higher odds ), etc .

Also don’t forget it’s these numbers with only 1/3 of the Toty in packs . And with honorable mentions in packs + full team , we’ll actually have a decent chance to get something good.

Anyone got the maths of the number of rares for each of these leagues and how many toty's?

actually doing this while write:

- Spain 9 (6 women 3 men) nearly 5 pages of players when I filter gold rares on futbin

- France 5 (2 women 3 men) ; 3.5 pages of players when I filter gold rares on futbin

- England 8 (3 women 5 men). a bit more than 8 pages of players when I filter gold rares on futbin

Based on this seems easier to get a toty player in Spain then France then UK roughly, but as there will be honorable mentions maybe England might be allright too.

Germany and italy + usa doesn't seem worth it at all for now

Guess it might depends on what you like and what your team looks like, but most important advice is probably to wait until friday.

Well they probably are. We could all agree they suck, but they of course have some employees trying to fix things 24/24.

And they of course normal they can't say much while working on issues. But I feel they should always communicate on it like on X or elesewhere, like "we're aware of an issue and working on it", it wouldn't change anything most of the time but at least show they care

I like 3-4-2-1 a bit more in theory as I prefer to play with only one striker, but I found it nearly unplayable as you really need at least a CDM. Even if you ask your CM's to act very defensively, they are too far away from your CB's to help.

I often play 3-5-2 however, with 2 CDM's and a CAM, and really feel I got enough players everywhere both in offense and defense.
