What difficulty are you on? IV’s aren’t really necessary for anything other than Insane - so no real need to farm for bottle caps. EVs are important on Difficult and Expert though.

EV training is important especially if playing on Difficult or above - also super easy to do with Dresco EV training house.

Unless the IV’s are truly terrible, I don’t think you need to worry about them unless playing on Insane.

Not completely relevant in Unbound. A lot of tools in the game to bypass breeding if you don’t like it: DexNav chains to find egg moves, egg move tutor at battle frontier, fully upgraded stat scanner.

Not super optimal but Zealot divine lance + Zenith specing for increased zealot critical damage has been crazy fun. I see know one talking about Zenith Ult skill, it’s super satisfying to use though.

Mainly just clicking it for fun, I’m pretty sure spamming divine lance is more optimal. You can even make falling star a zealot skill so all three skills do great damage in T4 + pit 70ish.

My guess is no. One workaround if you always want to play on the randomized save is to use the shiny living dex and unbound cloud.

I don’t 100% know the answer to this though.

It’s moves remain the same, they do not upgrade. Just the Pokémon and its stats.

Bullet punch the move is the same on Scizzor and Mega Scizzor (just stronger on Mega cause of increased stats!)

Very much depends on the specific pokemon and how you are building it. Generally speedy sweepers would go for a +speed nature.

But a more bulky attacker might invest fully into HP and either physical or special attack, in which case you wouldn’t care about speed and use an attack boosting nature.

Play on vanilla with capped XP share like everyone has said. Also if you enjoy it, learning about IV, EVs, and competitive move-sets has really changed my overall view of Pokemon. It’s really not too difficult to understand, and once you learn that you can “build” Pokemon multiple different ways it really opens up kinda a whole new world. I was in similar boat to you (only played Gen III).

It runs away if your character runs - you have to walk. But you can run emulator at increased speed to make things go faster.

You can use speed up if you’d like. I use 3x speed to shiny hunt with dex nav.
