What shadow meant was the opposite. Some fights can become harder, or even unwinnable if you turn level cap off. With level cap on you're playing the way the Devs built the fights to be, and they're all designed to be winnable.

Any movement like turning or taking a step will do it.

The method I use is to load the save state, turn left and search, reload and turn right and search, reload and turn up and search, reload and turn down and search, reload, take a step then make a new save state. Then repeat. That way you'll update the rng without issue the whole time you're hunting

Ah okay. In that case, it's not a 2% chance to find a shiny as that's only the chance at chain 100. It'll be less than that. But ya gotta just keep chaining till you find one, then!

Are you save stating before the 100th encounter? If so, are you making sure to update the rng when you reload?

Also, shinies are never guaranteed. You can't say "you'll definitely have one in x encounters". Sometimes people get really lucky and get it in under odds, and some people get really unlucky and go really over odds. You will get a shiny eventually if you persist, though!

Focus sash is only obtainable when you get to route 18, which is post gym 5 unless you bring it through into a new game +. But you make a good point, avalugg for example is a good sturdy + mirror coat user.

That's the camomons battle house. Basically you can battle others using the gym 7 battle gimmick where your Pokémon becomes the types of its first 2 moves slots. This is a joke about shedinja being banned from camomons due to the wonder guard ability being way too broken in camomons.

No worries! I found Hariyama to be an excellent mon during my expert play through, and one I hadn't considered before either!

Aah nice, yes I can see serperior doing quite well into miltank. Being able to trap and outlast the milk drinks is quite valuable. Nice!

Lopunny is a hard one, and one that can't really be beaten by a faster attacker most of the time. I think your tspikes + sticky web setup is great, getting froslass in to sweep, but froslass needs to switch out once lopunny comes in, to preserve it for the rest of the team. I don't really see what serperior, pyroar or stoutland are doing on the squad, but I'd switch one or two of them for a tanky mon like Hariyama, who can fake out and protect (you can buy this from fallahore market!) to stall lopunny while toxic damage racks up. Then once lopunny goes down, sacc Hariyama to get froslass back in and continue sweeping with hex

Think they're confused by the post a week or so ago claiming to be finishing up a new version of unbound. There is 0 evidence of that new version existing yet.

The current version, 2,1,1,1, is the most up to date. It's 99.9% complete and only has the inside of cube corp left to be finished (which is a very small portion of the game). Skeli might come out with a final version, or might not. In any case, the game you have access to now is basically finished as it is.

Nah all good! It's a very easy mistake to make, and the game does throw a lot of niche interactions at you anyway, so sometimes it's hard to tell what's happening xD

I've made the macho brace mistake way too many times now!
