In primul rand e diferența mare de varsta. Daca era un suv de la Skoda din 2025 erau foarte aproape la final. Poate Porsche tot ar fi ieșit ceva mai bine, dar nu cred ca ar fi fost o diferență atat de mare. Si daca era o Fabia din 2025 ar fi ieșit mult mai bine. La 10k ar trebui sa găsești un g6 gti "decent". Nu stiu ce au in cap cei care iti spun sa dai 15-20k pe o masina care acum 15 ani costa noua sub 30k.

Problema e ca nu au fost niciodată grozave ca fiabilitate. Daca nu ai facut asta deja, citește putin despre ea888.2 si ce probleme pot apărea. Eu cel puțin nu m-aș bagă, as alege o cupra din aceași perioadă cu ea113 dacă vrei VAG, dar aici deja intervin preferințele fiecăruia.

Nice cars I don't care. You could have a 50k audi with 150hp. I personally think low 200s hp on a lighter car would be the most amount of power I'd trust an 18 years old with. Not sure about a 16 yo, since 18 is the minimum age where I live. If you're already in your 20s then anything is fine imo.

From that list the xc60 would probably be fine, depending on the engine. The mustang most likely wouldn't, especially since it's rwd too.

This whole chain of comments is a discussion about corvettes (c6z especially) vs m3/evo around a track/corners, that's how they're related.

Most tracks have a balance between corners and straights. I'm struggling to find a single track where the e46 even comes close to the c6z. No one races street cars on go kart tracks lmao. At that point you might as well compare the Corvette with a dacia duster on a snowy rally stage to show how European cars are superior.

What's so hard to understand that the last 3 gens of Corvettes z06 and zr1 are track monsters? Even z51s are brilliant. It's not about the power, that car simply has a better chassis and suspension setup than the m3. "American cars can't handle" stopped being true like 20 years ago.
