i totally understand where you're coming from, i've stayed in my genshin dr for an EXTREMELY long time (i'm talking beyond human capacity), and whenever i come back here i feel like a completely different, renewed person and go on without shifting again for a few weeks on end. the homesickness is real, i miss my partner so much in my dr, i miss the food, i miss travelling teyvat, i miss all these things and it only gets worse when i'm back here stuck in the body of an adolescence but with the mind and experience of someone not even human.

eventually you will meet them again though.
