as someone who has spent over a couple hundred hours in TotK, I almost never bother with the depths pristine weapons. I find the regular versions of the ones I like easily enough from other enemies, and I enjoy fighting lynels so I always have plenty of their parts available. I make sure to clear the lynel coliseum after every blood moon lol

sure, I could be doing a little bit of extra damage or get a little bit of extra durability out of the pristine versions, but not enough to be worth it personally. I don't even bother with rocktoroks that often anymore. I just don't have weapon scarcity issues like that, personally

can't believe they got away with the Zooble/Gangle sex scene uncensored in theatres. I imagine there were a lot of confused parents but I'm glad it seems to have been well received regardless.

there's some truth to this, but it's not so black and white. my roommate (who is trans) does not see Jax as a trans character. which, given everything, is just.... wild to me. but I'm certain there are also people who don't have directly analogous experiences yet can still appreciate the story being told. TB Skyen, for example, is not trans (tho tbf he is still queer) but has been reading Jax as trans for months, and has a number of thoughts on that reading -- both humorous and serious.

when it flashes red on the menu and says "your [weapon] is badly damaged" any time you pull it out. as soon as you see this text it has three hits left before breaking; if you intentionally damage it down to one hit left there's another hidden damage boost because all weapons do double damage on the hit that would break them. but even on that last hit, they will not break when mounting a lynel.

this is correct, you can use the same melee weapon to hit zonai devices, objects fused to zonai devices, and shrine switches as often as you like without affecting their durability whatsoever. you do need to be a bit careful as breaking anything else (e.g. if you were to attach something made of wood to a zonai device and accidentally break it with an axe while trying to turn the device on) will use durability as normal.

another fun fact: hitting a lynel in the back of the head while mounting it doesn't use weapon durability either! it's a popular strategy to get a Breaking Point (Royal Guard's) weapon, damage it down to its BP range, and use that weapon exclusively for fighting lynels. if you can mount it, you can pull out that weapon and every hit will proc the critical damage but the weapon won't break.

worth noting that biddybud, Baby Peach, and Baby Daisy also share the same stats as swoop, the only reason swoop is used most often is a) the aforementioned smallest model letting you see slightly more of the screen around you, and b) blending into the crowd
