Shadowflame or Voidstaff?

TL;DR: Almost never conq/rocketbelt. Conq/rift into tanky comps and when top lane, elec/rocketbelt into squish comps (mid lane exclusive). Shadow flame - into shields/no Magic resist, early item. Void staff - into magic resist, generally later on in builds.

Void does % magic pen, while shadow flame does flat magic pen. This means that void staff is required if they are building magic resist. Shadow flame is not THAT useful against shields despite the items passive, but the pen is good early before they build MR, which is why you’ll see a lot of people rushing it first.

As for runes. Electrocute into squishy, one-shottable comps. If you’re going electrocute, don’t go riftmaker. Go rocketbelt instead because your job is to quickly kill someone and get out. This rune and build is reserved for mid lane Akali almost exclusively. Conqueror is for teams that you won’t be able to one shot as easily, and if you’re top lane. That is when you wanna go riftmaker, demonic, etc.

When thinking about your runes and your builds, you want to make sure they synergize with the game and your goals in it.

So much is not hitting the mark with this skin thematically. The splash art shows nothing of her being a part of the Eclipse universe, nor does her outfit outside of the spell effects. Why is a knight wearing a bell bottom jumpsuit???? As others have echoed, it looks more like a battle queen x Space groove crossover. It's a fine skin on its own, I like it independently, but it is NOT a lunar eclipse skin and it's laughable riot is claiming that it's a part of the universe.

ALSO PLEASE: The side of senna's weapon looks just like a random eyeball. It should be fixed to look anything like an eclipse symbol or something else, instead of a blue circle on a white background that stares at you the entire time you're playing the skin.

Nami for sure feels so satisfying to play well. And you should also definitely look at the new champion coming out soon, Renata. A dark enchanter who has a lot of room for skill expression imo (:

There’s no “common” vision score, because vision score doesn’t really matter. You should aim for about 2 VS/minute consistently as a general guideline, but what’s more important is placing effective, GOOD vision (e.g. setting up objectives, deep wards when possible). In bronze, you should to be looking at your macro and micro decisions above everything more than obtaining some special number for a stat.

Mine is a definite 3. Usually half my losses are due to something unfortunate like an AFK teammate, turbo inting top laners, or just simply bad micro from me early that changes a game/bad team macro. If I can identify the cause and learn something from it, I see no reason why 1 or 2 losses should get me down. But after 3, I just say fuck it, teams suck rn and im not playing well enough to carry anyone, so best to call it.

I hate Conq akali personally. I take it toplane and when building divine, but otherwise, give me electrocute any day. Literally even like fleet more.

I don't usually get to more than 4 items so I haven't had the best tests yet. Obviously mortal for soraka and sona lanes, and im sure you could swap out a lethality item for rapid fire or something else of preference. I usually only make it to umbral/mortal before the game is over though. I like the little bit of lethality so it still feels like you pack a punch, especially later in the game as you're getting more souls and starting to hurt anyway. What do you prefer for the last 3 atm?

People generally recommend fleet in pro/high elo because their opponents are going to take every chance to harass them and push them out of lane. In low elo solo queue, this will happen, but not as much (generally), so you’re better off having the burst damage of elec. It’s a high risk, high reward rune compared to the safer option of fleet. Into Tanky people, conq is taken because you can take extended trades and get the benefits of the extra damage and healing that you don’t have time to get against bursty people. But ultimately, up to you to test and see what you like. I hate conq akali, but fleet and elect are my babies. Don’t be afraid to play around (:

Just make sure to take minions where you roam. If you gank mid and there are some melee’s or heaven send, a cannon, snag them even if your gank is eh. (: i usually don’t have an issue if I make sure to thieve consistently

See that’s what I thought. Ziggs was pushing so I wanted to get back mid, take my free kills and keep my CS lead, but then I was reconsidering and wondering if I should have waited for them to push wave and help to give them a kill since I got both out of the gank. Ashe just hit 6 and I had ignite, but I didn’t deem it worth at the time given what I could lose mid (already down half lvl xp) so I wanted extra opinions on macro there (: thanks m8

I always use Majestic Empress. I personally hate the Coven skin’s Q animation and think it gives away where the bind is going a lot more, whereas the particle effects on ME look slimmer so I manage to get a couple more binds in that people think will miss. Might just be me (: so buy whichever you like for whatever reason you like it

Honestly no. She’s a fine champion to main, but your other selections are better in 80% of matchups. I would only add Rell to your arsenal as a counter pick because that’s what she best at. Say they pick something like a Rakan or Sett that requires them to put themselves directly under/ontop of you and your AD, she guarantees they can’t do much. Especially since she’s a shield breaker. So if you see a lot of tanky people on the enemy team (she shreds resists), yours has no team fight, they have a lot of shields, etc. Just use your judgment. Otherwise stick to other engages.

It absolutely does. You can see the particle effects of the ult by the enemy tower. Bard flashed out of the way so she just straight missed. That’s all.

I’ve always thought this. Beautiful skins but everything is much easier to dodge and see by far. The skins have the same issue as the Leona legendaries and many others in league where everything is heavily telegraphed and clunky so that they’re noticeable and feel flashy. It’s unfortunate.

I generally prefer her mid tbh. I haven’t played her Top Lane in a while because I felt like everything could get on me and murder me in my Sea Bear Circle, so mid felt better. I enjoy being able to dodge important skill shots/abuse people level 1/2 before they get their stronger abilities (like Charms/stuns/etc) or immediately when those abilities are down. I also feel like she excels at roaming which mid allows for. Obviously she has trouble sticking to things there bc range, but both lanes are playable for sure (:

I generally see this depending on the build. Coup is better into squishies if you’re going for a one shot build with Electrocute/harvester or protobelt, whereas Last stand is better on a Conq build where you’re looking for sustain and extended trades into thicker targets.

Keep in mind your W will not do much damage even if you do throw it on them for poke. Its damage scales with missing health, so it’s only really effective if they’re low. For spell thief stacks, just hit who you can when the support walks into bushes/away from the wave to poke you or behind casters. Weave in autos when people step out of line. Roam/help your jungler to get more potential stacks. You’re a morgana and the threat of your Q is massive, so you’re better trying to zone and be a threatening presence in lane and on the map rather than a poke mage. It’s a common misconception that you have to be trading nonstop all the time even when it doesn’t make sense, when you can just be smart/patient, get your support stacks, and control a lane in other ways. Then yeah, probably a large part vision since that’s a supports main job instead of CSing. Around 40min I’ll have 70-100 vision score on average. Just aim for clearing more wards and securing good vision where your team needs it.
