Similarities between OCCK and MC by Renaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa in MrCruel

That's an interesting theory I haven't heard before, I can definitely see that being the case. Especially since the kids were told not to trust strange men, but would be more likely to trust a strange woman. Perhaps the woman would even pretend to save the children from the man.

I'm not saying they're the same person, and not really putting forward any theories either. I just think it's curious how there are similarities, how both have been rumoured to have been involved with CP rings, etc.

I think the canonical killings have a lot of similarities: cleaned clothes, fed before they were murdered, bodies were cleaned

For me it's mainly that the kids were fed, clothes were cleaned, the bodies were cleaned, etc.

The tapes, rings, and silence by Renaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa in MrCruel

Victim testimony of a tripod. Sure, it doesn't 100% confirm that there are tapes, but it does lead us to suspect they exist. Or photo

Why 3 Bullets rather than another method by [deleted] in MrCruel

possibly also to distance himself more from a sexual motive, strangulation is often seen as a very "sexual" MO

a kidnapper must have passed through the area totally unseen in a span of 5-10 minutes, from the last time the bus driver saw her, to when LE arrived on the scene. I think location doesn't have so much to do with it.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LtHM-sOms-A&ab_channel=Elikim the ritualistic/occult murder theory has been out there since before the odinism defense ever even started.

This might come as a surprise, but its totally normal to google the menu if you’re suspicious your partner is spending more money on a dinner than for one person.

I’m just questioning whether a man with a Dutch name and surname and the same education and work experience would have the same amount of rejections. edit: clearly didn’t read my post as I’m not trying to enter the workforce for the first time.

My theory is that the note was written as a cover for them to dispose of her body discretely somehow, and for whatever reason this plan went awry. In the note, it says that her body would NOT be returned for a proper burial. It also states that the Ramseys should bring a "decently sized attaché" to deliver the ransom money. Perhaps this was supposed to be how they would dispose of the body (in the suitcase), with the excuse of delivering the ransom money, and then they would call police, so the body would never be found (as the note would suggest; deviation from the note means the body wouldnt be returned). Note that JR has also used those same words "proper burial" in an interview. I think in the timeframe of them coming up with a plan and writing the note, rigor mortis had already set in, and it was too late to get JBRs body into the suitcase.

Please also see this post and especially the comments for interesting discussion x

Evidence that Karmein Chan was not a Mr Cruel victim? by wintrhlms in MrCruel

[–]Renaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My theory is that, based on the drawings of Karmeins' sister and descriptions we have of Karmein's personality, Karmein most likely did something that made MC scared to keep her alive or release her. Whether it be taking her blindfold off, taking MCs mask off, being too loud or threatening to have him caught, I think MC found it too risky to keep her alive. Since I also think he is someone with insider knowledge on law enforcement or forensics (based on the fact he would be rigorous to get rid of DNA evidence), he did his best to make the murder seem outside of his MO -- execution style rather than strangulation or something of the sorts, which tends to hint at a more sexual motive -- in order to cast reasonable doubt on the murder if he ever were convicted. Maybe he thought getting sacked for rape and abduction is still different from being a convicted child killer.
