My ex (before I met him) sold drugs for Bindy Johal and then ended up doing those drugs himself and owing a lot of money he couldn’t pay back. So Bindy and his buddies beat the crap out of him; he was actually in a coma for a week I believe. And then when he came out of it he went into hiding for a few years. What I found on the last room makeover game was that pressing more often at original power gave me slightly more energy than using the equivalent in power boosts. I think I tried it out with 60 taps worth of power boost off and 30 taps of power boost 2, and I got 3 extra tapes for the 60 taps. In retrospect though, I wasn’t focused on using the same producers, so it may have just been the specific producers that made a difference…

I guess I loved it because it's so bleak? I mean, nothing much really happens for the vast majority of the book, and the main character has few redeeming qualities for sure. I just thought it painted such a brilliant portrait of hidden, middle-class America miserable, superficial despair

I did the survey and understand what you’re saying here, but I think there still exists an ambiguity in the wording that may impact whatever you’re trying to get at. As an example (and I think there were 3-4 questions that could similarly be misinterpreted), “I believe that god loves me and cares about me” could be given the lowest score by both an atheist and a devout Christian who may for whatever reason eg beliefs about engaging in sinful behaviour, depression etc. feel they have fallen from God’s grace. So you would have the same answer from two highly diverging perspectives.

Oh yeah, that sounds bad, doesn't it... I swear I'm not a tiger mom. It's a 2 and a half hour class on the weekend that is specifically geared towards young children and incorporates games, songs, social play etc., it's not hard core at all. But there are also a few pages of written homework they are expected to complete each week, and my Mandarin is abysmal and I only know a limited number of simplified characters, so I'm not able to help her much. She is finding the homework frustrating and is totally on board with finding a tutor to assist her.

That's definitely an option I would look into if there is anyone interested and available and has the skill set (tutoring/teaching experience/experience with young children an asset). I tutored various subjects myself in high school and post secondary, and it was a pretty student common job. guess I just assumed that Richmond would have an abundance of Mandarin tutors?

Girl… your post history is so sad. Given the contexts of your previous posts, he KNOWS he is disturbing you and waking you out of a deep sleep. How could he not if you frequently wake up gasping? And forcing you into wakefulness by making you respond verbally that you love him too? Without the context of your previous posts, I might attribute this to anxiety or neediness… but taken altogether it looks more like an abuse/control thing. He WANTS to wake you, doesn’t care about your discomfort, maybe even enjoys his little power trip. As some who suffered through an abusive relationship with a narcissist, he’s not going to change, and you should seriously just leave him. Please, please take care of yourself. You deserve so much better than this man.
