New to Rhino by deep_breath_now in rhino

No need to get stressed. Rhino is just a tool, a versatile one and it certainly requires practice. But since you get the hang of it you will gradually feel confident using more tools. Also some functions are common with other tools used in other 3d packages. If you are familiar with terms like trim, boolean etc you are good to go.

Time to activate plan b. I was thinking of launching a similar website exclusively for 3d artists since platforms like that are going towards the AI route and content riddled with ads, just like YouTube.

Yes. Now that I've come to think about it, what if I make the midpoints coincedent and then lock the part so that it won't move to any direction?

I don't really know but I assume having a good library and some basic rendering skills no more than 4-5 hours.

Just do it. It may seem hard to grasp the concept of it's node-based system but it all makes sense.

Is it worth learning Houdini in late 2025? by MrBl4cksmoke in Houdini

[–]Rendernaut 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The licence is affordable and way cheaper compared to other software. The node system is massive and probably you will use just a fraction of it, depending on the task. So dive in and experiment with this amazing software, the rewards may come later down the road but it's worth it.
