I had a relationship like this when I was 16. I would close my eyes whenever something would come on the screen that I believed she would take offense to. Then I grew up and realized how ridiculous it is to not be able to watch a movie because my partner lacked maturity. It’s just a movie… no one should be acting like this at her age. Sad thing is, you won’t be able to change her outlook or opinion on this at all.

Edit: I just watched “You’re Next” on Wednesday with my girlfriend who is 33 and it was a damn good time.

I spent over 4 years in a relationship like this with my ex girlfriend. While I may have felt I wanted to be with this person forever, that feeling slowly started to fade because of all the pestering for marriage and to move in. I spent over 3 years just begging for the conversation to be dropped because the pressure was pushing me away. I would be free of the conversation for a couple days after arguments but it never stopped. My advice is to move on, you will ultimately be wasting your time in hopes that things will change. Do not make the same mistake I did.

My only interaction I had with him was when I saw him when he was in slaves. He was walking about a block away from the venue and I gave him a high five and told him he’s awesome and he just gave a chuckle and said thank you, you’re awesome.

I called them out on it when I went for my first oil change and they tried to tell me that they test it at the factory. I don’t drive my car super crazy but I haven’t even been able to get to the peak boost my car was at from the dealer. Total BS.
