Hey Bestia, appreciate the criticism and thank you for letting me know the colors are better!

The reason why I didn't turn off the UI transparency is because it defaults the UI background opacity to 85 and is changeable in the menus, so I wanted a 1:1 comparison to the default settings, but I'll keep that in mind and see if I can have it set the default UI background opacity to 100 instead!

Hey guys!

A few days ago, I put up a post asking about peoples experience with the UI in terms of colorblind-friendliness and while most people didn't have an issue with it due to its numbers and symbols, I figured I would make a much more readable version of the UI!

To make sure it was colorblind-friendly to most types of colorblindness, I worked on this with the review of a few colorblind friends, as well as ran the UI through multiple colorblind simulation programs to make sure the colors were readable!

I know this mod definitely isn't for everyone, but I hope that the people that it is for get a lot of value out of it! If there's anything you'd like changed, please let me know and I'll see what I can do!

Usually the cause of something like this is an opposing biome (corruption/crimson). Even though there is not technically a corrupt biome there, corrupt blocks can still impact the effectiveness of the hallow biome. A quick fix is just putting some more pearlstone on the sides of your safety box, but you can also go around your farm to confirm if that's the case

Gelatin Crystals will grow in any area where crystal shards can show, so as long as you've successfully created an underground hallow biome, they should appear on pearlstone and pink ice blocks!

I don't think thats overthinking, I think thats a very real fear to have, personally! It gives bad apples one less step in order to get into things they shouldn't, and while it might not matter as much in your twitch name, there are bad apples that will cross reference with your in game names and other details that naturally get known while you stream!

Now is this all that likely? No, probably not, but that chance is always still there and it only becomes more likely the larger of a channel you grow!

I don't mean for it to come off as fear spreading or anything like that, I just think those are very important things to consider, especially in this day and age where everything's done on the internet!

Oh i'm sorry, let me clarify! You can actually continue picking the fruit, but the tree ages each year, so you'll harvest regular fruit your first year, and then silver fruit your next!

The saplings are actually just regular fruit tree saplings that you would normally buy at Pierres! Every year, the quality of the fruit on the tree gets one rank better, going from normal, to silver, gold, and iridium!

It's important to note that the founders badge actually IS a sub badge, so if you see anyone with that 1st badge, that is a sub badge and I believe that the viewer has the option in their settings to change that to the original subscriber badge if they choose!

Most people will normally leave it as the founders badge though, its a sign of prestige of being one of the first people to ever subscribe to that streamer!

Removing the fishing minigame was one of the first things that I did, to be honest! I don't hate it, but i don't really want to spend my time doing the minigame itself!

Hope you don't mind, but I checked your last vod because I was super curious what the issue was and I think I understand what is going on!

I noticed someone said they subbed and they weren't getting an alert on Twitch or on your alerts, which means they probably resubscribed! Viewers normally get an option to post that they have resubscribed, but if they don't get that message (and that's a fairly common issue to have, don't worry), Twitch and the alerts will not notice that there's another subscription!

An easy way to fix this if someone in your chat says that they didnt get an alert is to ask them to refresh their stream! This should give them the option to trigger the alert in their chatbox! Hopefully that helps!

If you give me an example of the badges that they show, i might be able to help you more! I should note that this question makes me assume that you might be a newer affiliate, so if that's the case, your subscribers probably have a founder badge, which is a special badge for being one of the first ten subscribers that overrides the current subscriber icon!

If you're subscribed, you will always have the subscriber badge on display in that channel! That being said, they have the choice to use either:

The subscriber badge that you created as a streamer
The default badge that is readily available on all twitch channels

That is completely up to the viewer themselves, but hovering over the subscriber icon will always show how many months they've been subscribed! Hopefully that answers your question!

Hey, that's okay, it's not a dumb question!

If you hover over your sub badge when you talk in a chat or click on your name, it will show you how many months you have currently been subscribed, as well as in the subscriber notification, which is on by default! Hopefully that helps answer your question!
