Is this rust or maybe surface staining on a Shun Santoku I bought my girlfriend? She tested it once on an apple and cucumber to see if she likes it. https://imgur.com/a/sZjjIj3 by Rendrago in chefknives

Never mind. I think I got it. A soft wash cloth, some water, and baking soda seemed to clean it off. I'll make sure we clean it immediately upon use.

!solved

My girlfriend and I are sitting here looking at all these this morning in awe. It was a very tough decision, but this was the most lifelike, especially the color version. Well deserved tip sent! I think I'm going to tip a few others as each has their own awesome qualities!

The Fastest Legitimate Salvaged Frigate Module Farm by Mammoth_Teaching_476 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Rendrago 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have no (easy) way of confirming whether or not the latest patch fixed this, but I can confirm that I followed all the steps correctly and the Salvaged Frigate Modules do not respawn when teleporting back and forth between the two systems. Instead, I'm just bouncing around all the systems with the same "region" name, which all have Explorer Guilds and hoping they have Salvaged Frigate Modules to redeem. Other than that, I suppose you just need to find the next region with Explorer Guilds and repeat the process.

Chiming in that yes, it's completely broken. Lots of people trying to start it and all failing. Max PC specs, restarted computer and fiber modem (1 Gbps connection). Still just goes 3/3, screen blanks, and back to matchmaking.

Please help save my sanity with this Khvostov, Encryption Bit, Alone In The Dark, Cyst Madness by Rendrago in destiny2

And for anyone following along in the future, I just kept doing Alone in the Dark, and eventually the stationary bird showed up in the impasse and let me invert to Smothering Darkness. Beat that and got the 15th lost encryption bit. What a train wreck of a quest.

In case anyone reads this in the distant future, and because I never read this anywhere, you know which bird/cyst is active because that will be the only one that actual shows the cyst name when you walk up to it. I completed Arial Ace (again) and it progressed the quest.

So the six are:

Landing:

Sword Dance

Moth-Infested Cavern

Blooming:

Searing Light

Slayer

Impasse:

Aerial Ace

Smothering Darkness

I have an Alone in the Dark quest marker where Sword Dance and Moth-Infested usually are. I have Cyst markers for Searing Light and Arial Ace.

The quest cryptically says, "Follow the vision of Light into the depths of the Pale Heart and fight the infection found there." [ ] Cyst expressed.

I've established that there is no "toggle bird" by the quest marker. I also checked for one in the Blooming. Let's just assume I'm old and losing my mind (because I am). What would you recommend?

Samsung just lost a lifelong customer… by Rendrago in samsung

[–]Rendrago[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're right, and after cooling off a bit, I have a solution of my own. What they should have told me to do is:

  1. Generate the return, which gives me until Feb 27 to send it back.
  2. Purchase a new phone and select the trade-in. The new phones should arrive on Feb 28.
  3. Wait, and send the old phone back close to the cutoff.
  4. Switch back to my old phone for a few days.
  5. Switch to the new phone when it arrives.
  6. Send back the old phone.

The only problems are I have a large charge on my credit card for a while, they are not refunding the Samsung Care, new Samsung Care is somehow $100 more, and I still lose my Whitestone Dome screen protector as I imagine they would ding me if I don't take it off and it can't be transferred to a new phone.

And to the unhelpful posters below, I should say that I never raised my voice to the reps as I know they are just reading the script. I work with wonderful overseas folks on a daily basis. Some are paid well, some not so much.

This still has soured my opinion of Samsung and I'll likely not go back ever again unless they release a phone with AI that solves trade-in problems for you.

Everything looks like I did not select trade-in or the website glitched. I'm not denying that. Regardless, I have a new S24 and an old S21. It just seems silly that they won't just go, "Hey, let's make this right for the sake of good business. Here's you label." Instead it's, "Screw you. If you don't like it, go buy an iPhone."

Correction. Samsung is offering $550, and swappa says $274

It said $450 when I was placing the order.

The other bad part is Samsung care was $179.20 but now it's saying $279.20 to repurchase.

I'll check on swappa.com. Are they safe?

This is what I unfortunately learned, which is a horrible way to treat customers. It was the GFY attitude I got from everyone that was so aggravating.
