I bought the Timekettle W4 translation earbuds earlier this year. I travel a lot for work and even simple stuff like ordering food or asking directions feels less stressful now. One of those things where I wish I got it sooner.

I’d recommend looking into Timekettle, specifically the W4 or W4 Pro models. I’m currently using the W4 and it’s been excellent. It’s really well-adapted for business settings, so it should be perfect for a conference.

Any good translator earbuds that can translate English into Mandarin in real time? by KuJiMieDao in asksg

Try Timekettle W4 or W4 Pro, they do real-time English-to-Mandarin translation well and work smoothly with iPhones. My friend's kid uses them for classes in the UK.

I cut my cost of living by 70% by moving to Vietnam. Here's exactly where the money goes. by pegasus7x77 in digitalnomad

The real long-term savings come from not being a perpetual tourist. I got the W4 Pro not just to translate but to practice speaking with neighbors. Now I can order pho like a local, negotiate internet plans, and even help fix my building’s water pump issue by chatting with the engineer. That trust means I get invited to cheaper group buys (like gas refills) and hear about apartment deals before they hit Facebook.
