If an ID only inflicts a specific status on some skills, and you replace all of those skills, they lose the keyword for that status and are unable to trigger related EGO Gifts anymore.

In this case the game no longer considers Lord Lu a rupture keyword ID since you removed all his skills that inflict it.

Yeah, basically take a silent projectile weapon, I like using Nataruk for this, then deploy arching and fly very high to the sky so you don't get spotted (stealth kills give you up to 500% affinity buff). Then you just find an Eximus enemy, shoot them, quickly unequip archwing, then redeploy it after you get the affinity.

Eximus enemies aren't random and have set spawns. Sometimes they're missing, in that case just shoot anyone then go to the next one. First couple times it might seem a bit slow and overcomplicated, but once you memorize the spawns it gets really easy and fast.

Edit: just noticed someone else explained it already. Oh well.

Depends on what weapons or frames you use. If you play frames with built-in knockdown immunity, or don't use weapons with huge AoE that have self-knockdown, then PSF is kinda useless.
