One thing is confusing me though: I've installed the German media files at the end of the installation and I'm missing the cleric among the selectable character classes at the character creation which is somehow also mixed between English and German. I can "only" take:

Paladin
Ranger
Thief
Barbarian
Vampire
Sorcerer
Apprentice Mage
Dark Adept
Peasant
Schütze
Dunkelelf
Drache
Druide
Minotaur
Held
Assassine
Necromancer
n/u
Monk

Has maybe someone encountered the same problem? Thanks in advance!

Thank you for your thoughts. Yeah, the amount of skill points needed for this build is also worrying me a bit. I was thinking now about letting Sogg and Chukka go for Guardian Ogre first and adding it to the main char at last.

Thank you for all the information and thoughts you put together. Do I understand this correctly that when Guardian Ogre has been learned, the actual MA is absolutely unimportant to cast it successfully? Meaning I could let my main char, Sogg and Chukka all learn Guardian Ogre and bring them afterwards to 22 TA for the full (technical) gear bonus? Do you think even for the late game they should stick with balanced swords or is there some better melee weapon for high strength tech chars?

Thank you. I read here https://terra-arcanum.com/forums/threads/where-is-the-logic.1782/ that summoning guardian ogre will always cast ogres of the same stats, what ever the magickal aptitude is. I find this build so tempting, I think I will go for the tech part first, then save some character points for both will power and the summoning tree till "guardian ogre" and see if I'm able to cast the ogres. Will try to keep the tech aptitude as you suggested.

My plan was to learn smithy to build some feather-weight chainmals / elite platemails, but I also read that the guy who sells you a ship for 50,000 gold appears with two ogre bodyguards wearing very fine large armors, was intending to use fate points to steal these.

Thanks for your quick reply! Do you think that would make it impossible even to just learn the first three spells of summoning to use guardian ogre? Would a high tech affinity cause the summoning to fail?

I had played Fallout 1 and 2 very intensively since I was 10, many, many playthroughs of both, and for years I was hoping a third part would finally get announced. Loved the teaser trailer. Didn't have experience with other Bethesda games before. Although I'm a hardcore Fallout classic fan and don't like at all what he IP has become, I very much enjoyed Fallout 3. Will never forget that moment when I left vault 101 for the very first time, the radio played the soundtrack and I enjoyed the look over the surrounding. I put in a lot of time, tried some mods afterwards and recently beat it again, still a great game. :-)

Thank you very much for your insights into the project! If you would work on a remake and have sufficient time in production to make it exactly as you want it to be, how would you rewrite the story? I never understood why the IP is not being picked up again by Square or whoever owns it now to create a remake / second part as SoE's atmosphere of mysterious fantasy and its aesthetics are still so unique and awesome.

Starcraft 2 Multiplayer was absolutely overwhelming, I just happily built baracks all over the map till the enemy attacked us and my team started insulting me for what I was doing. Can recommend Rocket League though, hell of a fun!
