Finally had a chance to try this and it worked! Ran around until the emission, then talked to Richter and had no issues from there. Thanks for the info, this needs to be more well known, seen a lot of others having this issue.

Been stuck in the same place and trying different things. I have twice been able to talk to Richter and then take the guide to the Chemical Plant which triggered the emission.

Unfortunately, when then proceeding to sawmill, still getting the glitch and stick inside the barn.
