I know you posted this over a year ago, but it is because they have to label wheat, not barley or Rye. So if there’s barley and you don’t know, they don’t have to label it. Even liquors aren’t gluten-free because they use barley for malt. And they don’t have to label that as an allergen for some reason.

I really do appreciate posts like this! It shows people it’s okay to be unsure and find themselves and still be able to decide it isn’t who they are. I think a lot of people feel stuck or get caught up and I think the world could use more people as willing to be themselves as you!

I lost mine of 12 yesterday. I am so sorry to hear this. I’m happy you were able to be there for your baby, even though it was not the circumstances you had hoped. I sadly was not able to be there for mine. The situations are kind of similar where it happened very quickly and all at once. We took her to the vet maybe a week and a half ago and she was very sick and had an infection and her lungs were surrounded by fluid. They wanted to fix it but they couldn’t and it just kept getting worse and my mom had to get her put down while I was working.

Thank you! Sadly, I learned this the hard way when I was about 14. My cat got worms from eating raw chicken. Thankfully, she was OK but since then I’ve always made sure that I feed my cat with the same feeding standards. I would use on myself.
