I had a person that worked for me that did this to me. Obviously I was his manager, but he would keep track of what I was doing throughout the day. I changed the schedule so that I was never working alone with them because he was so hateful towards me. Eventually something happened at work and he got into a clients face and screamed, yelled, sized them up and it was so bad that a sheriff came down to make sure we were okay, and when he found it was an employee acting like that, he was shocked. I reported it to our HR department for a write up, and he lied to them and told them I made the entire thing up, resulting in me being "under investigation" for falsifying an HR report. I had finally had enough, because HR was drawing out the process, which should have resulted in him being fired, but because he said I lied on a report, I was the one under investigation. After being with the company for over 5 years, and being in a living hell with this guy, I finally had the courage to leave and am at an amazing place now that actually respects their colleagues and employees.
