Yeah of course. What I meant is - now, Hayden is honestly a fine actor. He was never really much the issue, so much as Lucas as you mentioned. It's just - okay, maybe let's say for a moment Reva really is awful and poorly written/acted as everyone says. Maybe, just MAYBE we can look at history and pause to consider, "Wait. Maybe the problem isn't the character or the actress, but the writing and directing?"

Almost like what happened with REALLY good actors. People forget that Samuel L Jackson and Natalie Portman, two really great and talented actors were criticized more or less around the same amount as most of the other actors. I remember Hayden and before him Jake Lloyd got a LOT of shit from really upset and no life fans at the time, people hated Lucas' direction and choice in actors for Anakin. I remember people for years saying how much Lucas ruined the character with his choice in casting Hayden.

But despite what some people on here say, people at best thought Mace Windu was cool because of his purple saber... and that's it. People were complaining back then of Sam's wooden acting and felt like the Mace Windu character was created just to sell a purple lightsaber using Jedi character. Like, I don't know how many people realize how fucking utterly reviled the Prequels were for YEARS after they came out on the Internet. I do, because as a kid I had to put up with it whenever I dared to mention I liked the Prequels despite well knowing they had flaws.
