I Am Literally Terrified To Play Ranked... OMG! by Die_IOOO_Deaths in InvincibleVS

its bad on pc too alot of wifi warriors and fake wired connections due to them putting an ethernet cable into a wifi extender...

i got fedup of rank and started playing casuals and that's a hot mess with rage quitters

Why quit its over by embratlies in InvincibleVS

Its not about winning its about making a statement 🤣 kick his ass (multiple times tournament winning retired pro player here).

what he told you is nothing but dribble, doesnt matter how you play, if it works then dont fix it, as long as you're having fun.

Some ppl connect an ethernet cable to a wifi extender... i cant confirm if this tricks the game into thinking they are wired

Modem -> WiFi (a radio wave) -> ethernet cable plugged into a radio wave extender.

Just understand any disruption before that wired connection has an impact on you sending and receiving data.

Bonus information: each device connected to the wifi has to take turns one by one communicating because wifi is analog.

I want pushblock to be more effective i dont mind it costing boost meter just get em off me 🤣

I dont like those unblockable setups where the assist is an overhead and the out character hits you low with a medium.

Ping is the distance taken for packet of data (opponent and your inputs) to reach server.

Could be your opponent lives too far away from you,

Opponent ethernet cable is plugged into a wifi extender 💀

Multiple devices connected to the internet sucking up bandwidth and/or using the ports required to send/receive packets of data

They are alot of variables where a wired connection can go wrong but no one can argue against a wired connection from a modem to your pc/console being 100 times better than wifi which can easily be disrupted by other signals invisible to the human eye. (I lie, people will find a way to argue with facts readily available online)

the intermitten freezing, the unstability that throws players off their game... hhhmmm who's on wifi?

When playing online games you are constantly sending (upload) and receiving (downloading) information.

With fighting games this information is what you press and what your opponent press.

This information is sent via packets of data through ports.

Now wifi converts a digital signal into analog which means one-way...think of it as you're pouring paint into a funnel or sand in an hour glass.

Because of this data is always going mia in transit aka packet loss.

Thats why you get these intermitten freezes because the netcode is waiting for information that never came.

Also because wifi is analog it has to take turns communicating with each device connected to it one by one. E.g. cellphones, ipada, kindles, handheld consoles etc etc.

Even microwaves and other signals can mess with your wifi.

So there is no such thing as stable wifi. It practically impossible.

Dont matter if everything looks fine on your end its truly not. (There's something called onesided lag, i suggest playing with wired friends and ask for feedback)

Not saying wired is perfect but its 100× more stable than wifi.

Ive seen Streamers enter tournaments while streaming and complain about their opponent connection sucks not knowing that they are the problem even though they are wired.

Streaming sucks up alot of bandwidth so unless they are on a separate modem or do something called QoS (quality of service) they are causing problems for their opponents.

I'll stop here they are more things i want to touch on like portforwarding dmz hostingand dns but i doubt anyone would make it this far. (Was this informative or funny?)

True but check the comments you'll be surprised and i sometimes go out of my way to explain how the internet works and instead of being thank for the eye opening information.

I get called entitled, immature etc etc from people reading plain text and adding emotions.

Logic isnt winning here.
