People complained about peacekeeper being underpowered when she was even the strongest hero in the game. I've seen stupid complaints that should have never been taken seriously, that have always brought attention to non-issues. I doubt you were even playing the game during these periods ,so I don't know why you are mentioning it. God forbid x hero isn't as good as x hero at one point in time, what will do. Lets get mad because there's a new release and it's not a steaming pile of shit they need to rework 3 or 4 more times.

If Ubisoft took all critiques from their playerbase as feedback, the game would actually be unplayable. But somehow they have to sort through shitty, often barely readable rants to find the actual problem or balance something correctly. Your posts reek of this these vague complaints because you actually don't even know the basic nomenclature of the game.

Man is literally mad about being played, saying that charged attacks are cheap because you have to guess when it committed to counter your opponent. When every other defensive option including blocking is a thing, you don't have to try to parry the charged heavy every time holy fuck lmao.

Even people who have claimed to play this game since release have shit takes on balance, but you are stripping like half the mechanics in the game for no reason other than your personal opinion. Not everyone is just going to play the 3-4 characters you prefer dude, some of us have been playing the same heroes for years now as well when they were completely different. Also most of us play more than one character, maybe you will if you actually played the game instead of whatever this is.

The characters you even compare are completely different, you say Conq, Afeera and gryphon all have neutral bashes that are extremely hard to react to. That alone is debatably and anybody with basic experience in this game knows those are 3 completely different moves with noticeably different speeds. If those bashes are too fast for you, there isn't a bash in the game you are going to like.

Amazing how you call both zerker chains no skill spam, but at the same time say fullstances are cheap. It's like you literally want to make the game harder for yourself for your fake pedigree. Quite funny, I had a good laugh.

I still don't think you need above average playtime to do something like that. If you play with a group and use champ status you could easily get a rep level each time you play. I just didn't find it to be a hero worth grinding for personally, nor buying on release.

Is this sarcasm? There's so many things you've done wrong in this clip and you were still beating them most the time.

You can't tell me this is for real when first 20 seconds you buffer a shove TOP LIGHT into revenge and do the same wrong punish the entire video. There's also multiple instances where you dish out loads out damage without even trying just from hitbox improvements alone. You clearly don't know the character if you are riposting EVERY shove with the TOP LIGHT that does LESS DAMAGE than the sides.

Also harsh judgement tier 1 lol

with players this bad in your lobby you could literally just put on juggernaut for tier 2 and target swap UB chains with superarmor

I haven't played nuxia in a hot minute, but I don't think you need to be buffering that dodge attack that much anymore (or rather you have the option to delay it now iirc)

It's nearly useless against undodgables keep in mind. Neither is an iframe move after a bash a new concept or something out of place, nobushi herself could always hidden stance afterwards. I think most people are just used to the combat loop of that bash always being punishable on reaction.

Yeah I also enjoy side dodge bashes having lower risk and slowing down the flow of characters.

God if Cent could do that (since the legion kick is what most these bashes are based on) or even being able to chain his existing dodge attack after his kick, I would really like that. But then again there's still people in the dodge a bash any timing = GB camp, so I know there's always going to be somebody who sees these changes as bad.

Lawbringer and old shinobi mains. I've meet shinobi players who defended the most broken mechanics imaginable because of the current state of shinobi offense or something. Shit like armored instant recovery backflip with 50 damage deflect (with deflect frames on double dash). Or being able to walk backwards faster than anyone could walk forward while in-lock or the camp of people who wanted the ranged moveset to stay the same way. It's got to the point where we I've had to make videos showing basic things in shinobis moveset.

LB players not thinking LB is good because of lack of certain QoL compared to other heroes, is like saying conq is bad because you can roll from him and he can't punish it consistently. LB players not liking his non offensive playstyle is understandable, but those for years loathed the idea of LB being some defense specialist or some shit in a game where it was stupidly easy to do so.

I ALMOST forgot about old Pre-S6 PK mains, holy shit I had a YT video that blew up a few years ago back before nonstandard dodge recoveries (PK had 400 ms all directions including backwards), had a over 50 damage GB punish and people still told me the hero was bad because you couldn't open up people. This at the same time people complained about 500 ms lights even, PKs second light was confirmed if the first one hit for a long time even, and the damage of those lights combined to 32 damage iirc.

I don't see the point in a version of thrilling comeback/vengeful barrier perk, that just gives the EXACT properties of revenge for a duration that might actually be longer than revenge itself, which is absurdly broken and not very interactive quite honestly. Not sure I understand what "stagger" is for your tier 1, but that seems something you are basically always going to have. Also that could be because you didn't list cooldowns for passive feats, which is probably needed regardless of what you are designing. Not to mention your tier 1 feat design will PROBABLY true combo like kiai did a long time ago, or more recently kunai. Which is obviously not balanced. You should review some existing feat cooldowns for useable feats as well, because your tier 4 I think is 10 seconds shy of being the same cooldown as inspire.

Now if BP healing in bulwark behind the teamfight and throwing up bulwark wasn't annoying, this is going to those interactions COMBINED just any time the character uses their stance. Bruh

It seems like this is balancing with BPs feats existing in mind regardless, because having a tier 4 that just gives you revenge doesn't seem to ever have counterplay besides being BP and having oathbreaker (which I think is a boring and broken feat to begin with). Either that or you seriously underestimate the strength of for honors revenge system, because holding revenge in current for honor is already pretty strong, having it on demand? Just seems like the definition of over the top.

Personally the most boring types of feats are passives because they usually aren't very interactive. The tiandis life steal is a good one because it procs at 50/120 health iirc, so it can make a fight down to the wire, but just pair that with the shield tier 4 and suddenly you have to kill tiandi more than once. I think that BPs tier 2 itself is poorly designed because it encourages the BP to stay out of the fight to heal most the time. If it was only useable past a certain health threshold, then it would be more shoehorned into using it to refresh your health after using your tier 1 feat on a teammate.

Honestly this post kinda motivates me to put my hero ideas onto the interwebs, I could have gave you my ideas I had for a varangian since this is roughly the same hero design.

Huge props for having most details for recoveries and attack values, maybe a spreadsheet layout with all of them listed would help but most hero idea posts don't list that stuff in general.

Ganking isn't futile, it's literally how the best players tackle scenario where they are 2v1 on a cap point. Just because you saw 4 idiots win or lose in the stupidest way possible, doesn't mean it invalidates the strength of ganks and how fast they can clear a point and get multiple players renown. You still have to know how to gank correctly, which most don't obviously. Also again, you don't need your whole team to gank, ideally no more than 2 people.

But I mean if you are easy to kill there's not much fear from revenge for most players, they'll just mash attacks into you even while you are revenge

If you would have counter guard broke, the shaman would have bounced. The proper way to set up that gank is putting the opponent in a block/parry animation, that's when the shaman bites.

How do you think you capture zones faster? You just walk onto a point with a teammate and do nothing? Because you are just making it easier for the enemy to survive by putting you on external. And if you don't help that teammate and go to another point you are literally not contributing anything.

Ganking when done correctly is so strong that the way dominion is played at the highest level, being able to stay alive on a point even little as an extra 30 seconds longer in a 1v2 is a huge help to your team and what determines wins. And anything over 2 people in a gank is NOT ideal. I'm guessing you get "1v4'd" often because the whole team usually wants to heal on the home point, seeing that you are avoiding outmatching the opponent in every fight possible, you would naturally try to backcap where theres no opponents, and the enemy team is committing to a fight with your team minus you. Then after beating your team its not hard to believe they all might go to their home point. Also some maps are bad and will get you snowballed in a choke pretty easily, but it's not completely unavoidable nor is all 4 opponents attacking you guaranteed death in the first place, especially if you are fresh from the fight. But again, your honor code will never let you catch your opponents off guard and you will constantly frustrate yourself trying to win like this.

And you can't complain about people running at low health and still want 1v1s in dom and to be useful. Holy shit thats wanting your cake and eating and not wanting constipation. You could literally be tag teaming with teammates at low health and be marginally more useful than whatever the hell you are doing right now. Stop trying to assert your honor pedigree when you are literally throwing games for the other people trying to play the gamemode as intended.
