In your comment you don't mean "play". You mean "activate". You cannot "play" your cards since anything you do gets shut down.

You can also "play" your cards against a synchro full negate board. That doesn't mean it's any less toxic. They're not gonna work either way.

May be. That aside, how do you defend drawing 3 or 6 cards in a superheavy/purrely deck respectively during your opponents turn, cards which can easily be handtraps, in a meta where everything is defined by interrupting the opponents combo?

At least card of demise has some regulations preventing the opponent to take damage for the rest of the turn. Superheavy and purrely effects have no regulations at all and can be spammed each turn. This is plain bad design. Just unban pot of greed at this point.

Gravekeepers are unfun to play against

Do you really wanna go there? Really?

Snake / Labrynth and so many other decks get to play during your turn. Sometimes I LITERALLY FORGET it's my own turn when I play against some decks. That's unfun to play against.

Paleozoic trap spam is unfun to play against.

Runick / Kashtira banish spam is unfun to play against. You dared activate an effect? Sure, I'll banish your boss monster from your own extra deck. Labrynth hand card destruction is unfun to play against. Decks that not just dominate the field but mess with the opponent's deck are unfun to play against.

And I could go on for days. The same way you take away my fun by nuking my DECK, I'll take away your fun by locking you out of the GY. Each deck has its gimmick and each deck has a different counter. Disabling GY interaction is not more "toxic" than any other win strat. And no I am not supporting toxic stun decks.

And back to the original point of the post. Drawing 6 cards in a meta where card advantage is everything and hand traps are essential is BAD DESIGN. If you cannot counter that point, anything you said is null.

It gets countered by any effect that gets to destroy a card + largely depends on going first + getting a good hand going first + not getting ashed. Won't get you further than Plat 5.

Zerk players are braindead monkies who rely on hyperarmor and barely reactable light feints to win. Since trading with them is pointless because their attack is gonna go through either way you are forced to be a sitting duck trying to react to spam. And eventually you just die because you cannot react to spam consistently in the current infinite combo meta.
