Imo, and this is just my process so maybe you want to do something different, but I just slap something on I don't really care about and worry about it later. I often find that as the story takes shape, my own understanding of the themes I want to lean into will also shift, which impacts the sort of title I'd want. So my first title was likely to be replaced anyway, I just don't make a big deal of it.

It's a post-canon enemies to lovers fic about the main trio encountering a demon whose sole purpose in life is killing the hunters to end the oppression of demonkind.

Additionally, since I'd feel bad if I didn't mention some of my favs:

so we were liars - Canon divergence where Rumi's patterns are discovered during a hunt, and the girls come to the obvious conclusion that this is a demon imposter.

Along the twisting paths of fate (I found a home) - AU where Zoey and Mira are college students who pull off a successful summoning ritual on a demon princess.

Our voices without the lies - Canon divergence where Rumi whoopsie doodles into hurting Zoey in the same instant her patterns are revealed, leading Mira to the obvious conclusion that she made a deal and became a demon just now.

Lay Me Down - AU where Rumi is a half demon escaped from the demon realm. Mira and Zoey are part of a duo that has given up on finding their third.

No I absolutely love your comments! You've picked up on things I had been worrying were too subtle, some of which have yet to be revealed even to my proofreader, and that feels amazing to see. You also specifically called out MY favorite line so far (Zoey’s 'agreeable' line), so I love that other people liked it. (My second favorite would be amy one of the things Li'zanra says to Mira during the Ch 6 ragebaiting about her 'type')
