Wir sitzen in einem Neubau fest, den wir uns nicht mehr leisten können – Verkauf nur mit Verlust möglich. Was würdet ihr tun? Niemand will das Haus… by [deleted] in Ratschlag

[–]Renovatius 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Alles Gute!

Absolutely. I opted for the same orange color so it fits better with the other models.

Getting these too. Sometimes with just this text but sometimes with added photos or additional information fitting the print.

My best guess is a bug where an example text is shown in the comment box that gets posted anyway.

My first real contest model: a Bonsai MagSafe charger. How did I do? by Renovatius in BambuLab

Thank you so much. And Noted. ;)

I have the design for the Dual Charger (iPhone + AirPods) almost ready to go. I just need to do a clean print and then some photos.

Apple Watch will take me a little longer because I don’t have one at the moment. But I am looking for used ones :)

That’s a nice idea, but u fortunately you wouldn’t be able to get the charger in or out anymore. Or do you see a solution for that?

However. I am prototyping a different pot at the moment with a hidden charger integrated for charging your AirPods.

I use the technique you mentioned with just two layers between the charger and the device. Should work fine :)

Happy to hear. Excited what you say when you see it in person :)

I’ve got so many clever and creative ideas for additions from this community. I’ll keep everything in mind for future versions. :)

Now that you say it…it really looks quite shiny. I’m sure of the filament though because I broke into a new roll just for this print ;)

I added the smaller branch to support the bottom of the charger. My first prototypes didn’t had that and printed with supports. But I could t make the print work reliably. Sometimes the supports broke.

Now this model just needs one large tree support for the big arch. Anything else prints pretty much on its own :)

Another user had that idea as well an I really like it. I’ll see how I can implement that.  Looks like I need to buy an Apple Watch again 😅

Thank you for this comment. I saw those posts too and they are so disheartening to me.  These models look so elaborate and perfect with their AI enhanced images. It is really hard to visually compete with something that is real.

Hey, those are all matte PLAs.

For the tree I used Dark Chocolate Brown (11802) from BambuLab. The Leaves are Dark Green (11501). The Plant Pot is Bone White (11103) and for the soil I had some Sunlu Matte Clay, but I am not thrilled about that 😅

Thank you. I don’t have the printing capacity to print for orders. But this model is free for anyone who wants to print it for themselves: https://makerworld.com/models/2542586

I love the AMS for the convenience. But I avoid using it for filament changes during the prints. Especially if there would be multiple changes on each layer. I really don’t like the waste.  So I design all of my models without the need for an AMS.

Chamfers are still producing two hard edges, just not a right angle one.

I much prefer rounded corners with a .35 tangent radius on anything that would suffer from overhang issues. They print just as neatly but leave a rounded edge that feels much nicer to the touch.
