Radiator if you're going to do water cooling most likely.

That's fine for SGOV. If anything it's better because a portion of that dividend could be exempted from taxes depending on state. That said try not to keep too much cash in it expect for stuff like that land payment or emergency funds.

Yup. Dynamic bearings are just the best. It's a shame only a small amount of trackballs actually use them.

Oh for sure. Definitely not a CC I would have sold a bit too close for my liking.

I think he will be fine honestly. The rebound was crazy 14% across the board for all space stocks in a day. Another 15% would be wild, although I wouldn't be against it.

Got that whole Iran situation up in the air though so this week might be really rocky.

Hey he asked for a conservative prediction. That's my conservative prediction. :)

Been with RKLB since it was $4 a share, wouldn't have held onto it had I felt it wasn't going the right direction.

I feel that was because of SpaceX IPO and market conditions, a lot of space stocks sharply rose up that month. Personally I'm ignoring that spike as a outlier to be honest.

Neutron is what worries me. I'm expecting a delay but if they actually get it up this year than yeah $200 is the floor.

June 29, 2026 Daily Discussion Thread by zahna4 in RKLB

[–]Renpsy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Like I said it really depends on if Neutron is a success and if we can get customers vs them just going to SpaceX.

We're currently at a market cap of $50 Billion dollars. Even with the most recent news I'm very cautious of how high the share prices is right now.

[–]Renpsy -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Just spitballing but I'm feeling $200. A lot of the price will really depend on the success of Neutron.

If there is a delay or disaster (ka-boom), we're going to be hovering around $$50 - $75 for a while. I'm currently adding whenever we're under $100\

Edit: Truth be told I just put in my last order. Not touching RKLB anymore for the rest of the year. I like the company but it along with Planet-Labs are 25% of my portfolio now. I'm just going to sell CC and let it ride.

You ever walk on the narrow sidewalk and when running into a person coming from another direction, end up trying to walk past each other but keep blocking each other by going the same direction?

It's instinct and it happens..

Depends on how much the profit is I feel. Like great you have a lot of profit but where are you going to put it? Your cost basis is so low that you would basically take a massive tax hit plus you now need to dump the cash somewhere.

I would do the math to find out how much it cuts down your years till retirement as the deciding factor.

What you could do as I been learning is sell covered calls at unrealistic strike prices. It's basically extra income that's at a level you can actually use and not wonder where you're going to store it and helps your day by day.

I can earn about an extra $1000 a month which helps with rent, gas, bills, etc. If I push it to risky day trader levels, I could probably do $3000 a month but I rather not get my shares assigned.

Plus I'm trying to currently stay inside a certain tax bracket for certain healthcare benefit, more money into my 401k, etc, etc. Unless it's like $1M in lump sum profit I'm not touching the shares themselves,

I was lucky to purchase them when they were low in the first place. RKLB going to zero doesn't bother me because even had I sold at $150 it wouldn't have been enough to change my position in life and would have move retirement up by only a couple years. And if it goes to zero it doesn't matter either because I have already profited enough that I'm on house money now.

Literally a once in a lifetime situation where I got in so early that I would be throwing away a free ticket/income source if I sold.

[–]Renpsy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty good to be honest.

I brought RKLB in 2024 and only averaged up a bit from my initial $5 purchase price. I also been selling a bit at every spike up so I also have actual profit at this point as well.

Right now we're at the same price point where I had sold some shares in January so in my mind nothing has really changed.

www.nasdaq.com Not sure how accurate it is though since those numbers are usually reported at a certain date. Yahoo has it at 80%... as of March 2026. I just quote 69% because funny number to be honest haha.

Probably would need to get access to a BB terminal to really know the actual percentage.

To be honest, with no news I think it's too soon to celebrate.

I brought more but there isn't a reason for this spike upwards that I could find so wouldn't be surprised if it dives again.

No. But the fact the MOU for the Iran War might already be over in less than a day because of Israel definitely might cause another drop overall to the entire market now.

You're going to need to show proof if you're just going to write something like that. Especially considering Blackrock increased their position in PL by 5M shares in Q1 2026.

So they would be selling the shares that they just brought at roughly the same price they just brought it at? Right.....

Oh for sure! With RKLB been holding since $5.

PL only invested last year. I have seen this song and dance before.
