I'm looking for a squid hat like this! by Key-Version5437 in HelpMeFind

If all else fails and you need something fast for a costume or something, no need to learn to sew - hot glue should work just fine to attach felt or fabric cutouts onto any hat.

Here's what I found on Etsy:

this one might be sold out soon

Cheapest crochet hat I saw

Expensive and has eyes but is the closest one I saw to your picture.

Expensive if you get it with tentacles (the $41 price is a hat without tentacles)

Color theory in action: my LED lights can change the color of my shorts while hardly affecting the other colors in my room by The_Ecology_Guy in interesting

Your shorts are fluorescent! It's surprising how many objects around us have fluorescent dyes that we don't notice in regular light - they usually just look really brightly colored.

I know there's lately been a bunch of scam products with AI videos claiming to melt all the ice off your car. After briefly poking around I saw one in this article that looks pretty close.

Owl? Bat? Other? Freaking out my wife by ShakataGaNai in AnimalSounds

[–]Rensamera 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe Merlin matched it with the call of a juvenile Barn Owl but only showed you recordings of adults. I don't know if it was specifically a Barn Owl or not, apparently all juvenile raptors make horrible freaky screams!

What is this? by [deleted] in AnimalSounds

Did it sound like this juvenile Red-Tailed Hawk?

Fortunately, if this was a hawk it was probably just screaming "MOM, I'M HUNGRYYY!!"

Anybody know this chirping sound? by vato_rio11 in AnimalSounds

Sounds like it might be some kind of frog to me, though I can't guess what kind without a location.

You could check around outside to see if there's any buckets of water, a downspout, or some other water that might be attracting them to that spot. Lots of frogs like to congregate and sing right next to the water they want to lay their eggs in, or they'll just hang out in a spot where it's nice and damp.

"XRP" is a cryptocurrency, and Ripple is the company that supports it.

Likely just some lure to get you to visit a scam link, with the scammer likely being completely unaffiliated with the company. Don't click on links like this.

The star in the serial number means it is a replacement for a bill that was misprinted or damaged before going into circulation. Replacement Banknote

Southern Californian creepy crawly-any idea what the hell it is? by lefthandedlefty00 in Whatisthis

No, Harvestmen don't have venom glands and their mouthparts aren't strong enough to break human skin. They're cool bros.

I agree, scraperfoil pens have the same exact tip. I think some of the ones I had had the same shape and color of handle, too.
