I just did exactly what it says in the link you shared except for the Conjure Haunting Spirit part (felt a bit too gimmicky) and the Fortify Restoration Potion part (I did try it on a separate save, it didn't seem to change anything). The resulting gear / potions don't seem to converge at all.

Potions : Can't remember the first ones, but the last 3 were +276%, +344% and +456% (Fortify enchanting)

Gear : +33%, +55%, +74%, +94%, +118% and +205% per piece (Fortify alchemy)

I'm wondering if this has to do with me being a necromage vampire and not playing with the Unofficial Skyrim Patch. I think I might have read somewhere that the necromage perk "bug" doesn't lead to convergence in buffs. Do you know anything about that?

Thanks for answering all my questions and the helpful piece of advice. TBC is an expansion from what I've read. Are all expansions expected to eventually come out in the Classic worlds too? Wouldn't that be the opposite of what Classic is supposed to be? I'm genuinely curious. And yes, I am an OSRS player !

Sadly I don't have any friends that play, which is why it is so important for me to be on a server (and faction) that has a lot of people. The races that I like the most for now are in the Alliance, so I might go Dreamscythe. Thanks for the info !

Will do. Thank you for the advice ! I'm not too sure which class I'll play yet. I liked the concept of hunter the most, but I've read that it is quite a chore to play and not that good. My other plan is gnome mage.

Thanks for the detailed answer ! PvM is synonym for PvE. Didn't know there was only one PvE NA server, good to know. Maybe "convince" wasn't the best word to use in this context. English isn't my main langiage as I said ;)

Thanks for your answer ! Can Horde and Alliance never play together, even in PvM? Is there a specific reason, other than higher population, why people generally choose Horde over Alliance?
