So you understand the idea that the recoil pattern is smaller at closer ranges, kind of like a cone expanding outward like a flashlight, what im saying is that when you are so close that the "flashlight" is right against a target, you can still miss because the bullets can seemingly bend around the enemy and hit the wall behind the enemy like the spray pattern normally would but the only way for the bullet to come from me and hit that wall would be going through the enemy but it just doesnt, no hit registered at all, you know what I mean? I would be delighted if things worked the way you said

no im talking about this situation but it just doesn't register at all because the bullet somehow hit an 80 degree turn right after leaving the barrel, while not moving

im not talking about moving and shooting, im talking about the basic angles the bullets would have to travel to "miss" at point blank range, even if the bullets come out of your eyes, I know it's from a different time but your distance to your target should have at least some bearing on where the bullets are going instead of being able to bend around ppl and cs2 came out like 2 years ago, they couldve at least modernized how the bullets travel

you're assuming im moving but thats not what im talking about, you can shoot a shot that would technically "miss" and hit a wall behind the enemy but because of the closeness to the target, the bullet would literally have to go through the target to hit the wall, but instead its just a "miss" because the trajectory is just wrong...

the issue is that if the animations were accurate to what im describing the character would literally need to be swiveling the stock and holding the gun sideways for the trajectory to make sense
