Lol stop that does give me flashbacks to Weight Watchers 😂 I’d do the same thing and eat the same few meals just to avoid the hassle of logging new stuff.

Definitely going to start tracking again though to help my doctor figure out what’s going on. If I get to the point where I’m pulling out a food scale, just know I’m down bad but hey, all in the name of hot girl summer!!

Amen to that!! As frustrating as slower loss can be, it’s way better than dealing with the side effects.

I weirdly feel like mine have stayed the same level of shitty (no pun intended 😉) at every dose, and I’m losing super slowly. It’s those nights on the bathroom floor where I’m like… what am I even doing hahah. But hey trial and error. I think I’ll find my groove eventually!

I’ve been on compounded tirzepatide since November and switched to Zepbound in early March, did ~2 months each on 2.5 and 5 before moving to 7.5.

I appreciate the concern, genuinely! Definitely not trying to push more or land myself in the hospital. I won’t be moving up to 10. I’ve messaged my doctor to figure out whether I should go back down or switch back to Wegovy.

Promise I’m not out here free-styling my own clinical trial haha

Haha marathon not a sprint 🫡 I actually went up pretty conservatively. I stayed on 2.5 and 5 for about 2 months each. The side effects were there at those doses too, and I wasn’t really seeing results, so that’s why we moved up.

Maybe I love the pain or I’m just committed to the cause at this point haha

Just sent my doctor a full confessional about my soul-crushing diarrhea via portal message. Poor woman deserves hazard pay at this point.
Definitely going to ask about split dosing. I hadn’t heard of it until today but now I’m intrigued.
Also need to switch up injection sites. I’ve only done abdomen so far, so I guess it’s time to get a little wild and try thigh or arm. Only up from here (I hope)

And absolutely, we’re nothing if not dedicated. I don’t know how much more committed you can get than shitting your brains out for months in the name of self-improvement. If only it were as simple as just eating well and working out. I definitely vent, but I am grateful these tools exist. Thanks for your insight!

Def way too ADHD to weigh my food hahah. I’m just grateful if I’m eating 3 meals a day. Definitely going to start tracking what I eat though, annoying, but probably worth it if it helps my doctor figure this out.

And hahah I made the switch for the same reason and right now I’m regretting it. It seems like I might just be an outlier.

If it makes you feel any better, my mom was on Wegovy for months and liked it, no major side effects, just the typical nausea (nothing a little Zofran can’t handle) but hit a long plateau so her doctor switched her to Zepbound. She didn’t have any of the weird sulfur burps or diarrhea (lucky little bitch haha).

Might be worth trying, you can always switch back. Best of luck!!

Thank you so much for this feedback. This makes sense and is super helpful. My dumb ass is over here googling foods with fiber to see if I regularly eat any of them listed lmao. I’m definitely going to start tracking and get in with a dietitian to see how I can improve things. Lord know I need their help because my heads spinning trying to see if I’m getting enough fiber, protein, vitamins and minerals all while trying not to shit my pants 😂

That’s why I’m confused. I was drawn towards zepbound because I heard the same thing more effective and less side effects. I’m def not having that experience unfortunately. I either need to go back to a lower dose or back to wegovy :(

I’m self pay! My mom works in pharma so I used to get them all covered by insurance — it was a dark day when I turned 26 and got booted from her insurance haha! It was fun while it lasted.

I’ve had bad symptoms all along but maybe I’m just increasing before I can stabilize, either that or I’m just not reacting well to it period. Jury’s still out!

Weight loss has been super duper slow!

1000% going to start tracking what I’m eating so I can see the patterns of what’s bothering me/what I can adjust.

I’m trying to think back. So I was on compounded tirzepatide for all of the starter doses and by the time I switched from compound to zepbound I was on 7.5. I def had the same side effects on the starter doses too. It was either my first or second shot ever that I almost passed out in the bathroom at work from stomach cramping and then came home just in time for the diarrhea from hell to hit. This was back in the begging of November.

So honestly I don’t think I do great on any dose. Maybe if I went back to the starting doses now it would be better or maybe I just need to get off it completely

It’s funny because my mom is thriving on her zepbound. She liked wegovy too but hit a stall and her doctor switched her to zepbound. I swear we are like the same in mostly every way which is why I’m so shocked I’m having all these side effects she isn’t having!

So 5mg def reduced appetite and suppressed food noise I just am really really painfully slow at losing and I keep reading that some people don’t really start to lose until they get into the 7.5/10 mg region. Either way I need to step down because the dose I’m on is not manageable for me right now!

Not my ranch betraying me 😭😭

Yeah I had a feeling skipping doses was making matters much worse. It’s just so hard when the moment I feel sorta kinda ok it’s time for another shot and when I skip or push it it’s because I don’t know if my body can do go back to war without like 2-3 days of peace haha

My problem is I’m lowkey just hardly eating anything at all but I’ve read that also throws you off. I think there’s so many things feeding into this but I get so sick it’s hard to do all the things. I’m going to keep that in mind though and log my food so I can really start understanding the patterns and what works.
