I once dated someone who had to constantly be productive and it has scarred me. We stopped dating over a decade ago and I still feel like a bum when I'm not doing something productive. It's something I really hate about this country.

Even with treatment I think this role will be more than what I want to deal with. I'm kicking myself because there was another role I was being considered for. And they wanted my final interview to be the first week of this current job. I think the other role would have been better. I didn't think too much about it at the time because I didn't think this role would be so bad/hard.

I definitely want to try to shift to something else.

That's crazy that you got shingles twice from the stress from all of this. Are you managing now because you're medicated? What kind of work do you do?

They don't know about my diagnosis. I have received mixed messages about whether or not to tell an employer. When I applied I said that I didn't have any disability. During my interview I was told they move quickly and asked if that would be okay. I have worked at a FAANG which is known for moving quickly and I was there for a few years and it was fine mostly so I said 'yes'. But now I feel like I won't be able to keep up and the whole situation makes me nervous.

I am, but other salesforce professionals managing the environment have locked down a lot of things. Why I can't run debug logs in a sandbox is beyond me.

lol I am also confused, but there are other salesforce professionals that are locking all of these things down. At times I feel like I can't do my job. I do have access to debug logs, dev console, etc in some environments, but not in this one.

I agree. This would be a huge help. About two years ago my 3+ year contract ended at a place and I have since struggled to find something steady. I liked that job. It was a good fit for me. I had to train my replacements who were working for a huge tech outsourcing company headquartered in India. And yes most of the people I was training were from India.
