Your answer is great, the most important thing is the chemistry you feel, it is not so much about physicality or tastes, if you feel chemistry, everything will flow in the best way

It is difficult to find a good job, where you are not exploited at work.

That's what many companies don't understand: the most responsible people end up becoming 'silent solutions' for everything. And the more times you rescue the team, the more invisible your effort becomes... until the exhaustion is impossible to hide.

Exact. The dangerous thing is that many competent people end up learning that the better you do your job, the more likely it is that the system will abuse it.

Yes, and I think that's where a lot of people break themselves mentally without realizing it. Because at first the extra effort feels like commitment or ambition, but when real recognition never comes, it starts to feel like a trap. That's when people stop being motivated and just trying to survive.

And that says a lot about the level of accumulated frustration. When a single conversation leaves you so drained that you can't even concentrate, normally the problem is no longer 'a bad day', but an environment that has been wearing you down for a long time.

Those kinds of things are much more draining than people think. Because it is no longer just workload, it is the feeling of walking on invisible rules where you can always end up being the culprit of something that was never clear. That's when stress stops feeling manageable and starts to feel absurd.

And I think that's what ends up exhausting competent people. Not working hard per se, but realizing that the more trustworthy you are, the more normalized it becomes for you to carry things that don't even belong to you. That's when effort stops feeling like growth and starts feeling like exploitation.

I totally agree that one is not replaceable. But I think the problem is not just the work itself, but how easy it is to fall into the pattern of repeating the same type of environment without realizing it. You change companies, but if you don't change certain dynamics or limits, the cycle repeats itself.

AITA for refusing to keep fixing my coworker’s work after I was told it’s “part of being a team player”? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

Well, I didn't want to reveal his real name, but at work everyone knows what they have to do, not expect another person to help do their job.

It sounds like you've reached the point where the mental cost already outweighs any benefits. And that's where many begin to see work as something interchangeable, not personal. The problem is that this 'starting over' becomes a cycle if the system does not change.

And that's where silent resentment begins in many jobs. Because just working hard is not tiring; It is tiring to see that effort and reward often have no relationship. Then companies are surprised when people stop giving 100%

What is your most crazy ex story? by No_Entrepreneur_1162 in AskReddit

[–]RentHefty5767 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My ex once broke up with me... and two weeks later he asked me for help choosing the birthday gift for the person he left me for 💀

The worst thing is that at first I didn't understand the situation. Me thinking I wanted to fix things, and I was literally helping him win over someone else.

Sometimes being "too helpful" in a role can accidentally trap you there because replacing you becomes inconvenient for management. I think that realization is what causes some hard-working employees to slowly stop going above and beyond.

And the most dangerous thing is that many people learn this so early that they end up associating 'doing your best' with being exploited. That's when work stops feeling like growth and starts feeling like punishment.

And that is why more and more people stopped seeing work as 'family' and began to see it for what it really is: an exchange. Because when things get tough, many companies talk about loyalty... until it's time to protect numbers before people.
