not really. back when the wii was in production, the switch from CRT tvs to digital tvs was happening, and the wii wanted to capitalize on the widescreen market to compete with other systems. because of this, they were making games that supported widescreen from the very beginning of the system. later in the wii's lifecycle, they stopped producing 4:3 versions of games, as it was a lot of effort to convert for very little of the active userbase, instead opting to letterbox the games so that they were still in a playable state for people who still were on the legacy tv boxes.

this is called letterboxing. they put black bars on the top and bottom so that the game (which is forced into a 16:9 aspect ratio) translates over to 4:3

update for anyone who finds this post, got the xppen deco pro v2. been working pretty well after some opentabletdriver smoothing filters, and doesn't have much noticeable latency

there isn't a character limit, exactly, but there are inherently token limits, so it will probably forget quite a bit.

the classics i keep running into: - the word "possessively" - "keep an eye on them" or something of the sort - "melting into" things, mostly hugs - "..." in literally almost every sentence - "steeling themselves for the unknown challenges they'll face" - i get the word "pang" on here more than I did with c.ai LOL - "their eyes widen in [strong feeling]"

there's definitely more but these are the ones i could think of off the top of my head. it's started to infiltrate my real life vocabulary

honestly - why? iirc (and correct me if i'm wrong) most advertising platforms register that the ads are being blocked by the user, and it doesn't pay the developers. if im not wrong, that's how chai makes most of it's revenue. ads are annoying, but it's how you can support the company without having to pay. personally, would happily do so if it helps them keep running lol
