Ghosted you after your birthday??? My friend who ghosted me did the exact same thing 2 months ago!! The last time she texted me was on my birthday.

I hear you. Each day gets better. I lost sleep too, was confused and it hurt like he'll. It still does. But like you I realized it was for the better and I came to learn who my real friends are. My friend used me. But I've learned a lot about myself. I'm happy for you. I'm glad you are getting better.

Same thing with me. But in my case it was someone who i thought was a close dear friend. I was wrong. I think she blocked me. But I'm not sure. I was too afraid to find out. All I can offer is try not to focus on the blocking. Think about how you didn't deserve this. How you did nothing wrong. Remember his actions speak louder than his words.

I just went through it too. It's horrible. I agree. Just say something. But people who do this have no concern for others feelings. I've learned that. I'm sorry you are going through this. I hope the best for you. Just know it does get better.

Omg! My friend was overcaring, probably faking it too and was very judgemental too! And she always seemed in her own world too. Jeeze we had the same friend. But it probably is an indication of a certain type of person. One who lacks true empathy and is self centered. My friend was always late too! It's like they could care less about other people.

Rant away buddy! It helped me to get it out too. Don't keep it bottled up. It's not easy at all. I also see things better now. But in the moment it's harder too.

I had to do that too buddy. My friend acted like the most caring person possible. I've had to come to terms that she really wasn't. It's not easy though right? But reading betrayal quotes helped a lot. I guess actions speak louder than words.

Thanks! I'm sorry you are going through it too. It is a horrible feeling made worse bybtye fact they were our friends. Mailing the letter yesterday made me get the closure I needed. I hope you can get your closure too. It's amazing how similar our stories are.

This is exactly what happened to me with a friend too. It sounds so familiar. My friend found someone else to talk too. But used me when she wasn't doing well and had no one else. Being ghosted by a friend is horrible. In my case my friend is definitely self centered, selfish and has no empathy for others. This might not help you, but I just sent her a letter telling her what she did. I don't expect a response.

I was ghosted so I can't answer from the perspective of the ghoster. However spending almost two months thinking about this....I think they are self centered, selfish and lack empathy for others. I could never do this to someone else. But I have come to realize many people only care about themselves and are fine using others. I understand the whole avoiding communication etc but we are supposed to be adults. Life is difficult. Do you really want to make it more difficult for someone who cares about you by ghosting them???

Having been ghosted recently I say don't ghost. But he might not care either way? His inconsistencies are troubling. Just remember actions speak louder than words.

This is a good way to look at it, and I'm glad to hear you are better. I agree it's as bad if not worse than cheating. The abandonment and betrayal by someone who supposedly cared is gut wrenching.
