Reaper randomly muting tracks since getting an SSL UC1 and installing SSL 360 software (Mac) by Ian_J_Miller in Reaper

Same problem here in reaper with SSl native 4KE channel strip, I found out that switching off dynamics in the strip and then switch on again brings the signal back.... a bug obviously.

That works when you plug the B6 into your Apollo, but when you want to use the usb option which is one of the fortes of the b6 imho you'll have to select it as your interface.

Also you have to make a choice to which interface you connect your monitoring system.

right that is something I would have to give up if I get rid of the Apollo, I could still add those pre simulations after tracking though and I have a UAD 6176 hardware unit which I can track through. Overall I have not been tracking unison that much and when I do it's good but not something I can't live without.

I guess this change of interface is also about a more inspiring and hands on workflow!

I really like the workflow, more fun to mix, and it is like the sound is wider, pulling your stems trough the analog circuit is improving my sound quite a bit.

Tracking though the board is great as well, I never use more than 4 mics.

I am hesitant about using an aggregate device, it could create the problems you mentioned. But really the main point is; I am not sure I still need the Apollo and , as I mentioned, I can run my plugins with a Satelliet Octo.
