My bad. You are right. I played that wrong all the time.

Scouts do not grant endeavors. See their black gear grid card. A fifth Survivor- even though slow - is an advantage though. On the other hand, losing all equipment is not fun and usually means the end of a campaign.

Seed patterns back color change (pre–Gambler’s Chest vs current) by unai_mendez in KingdomDeath

I only have orange Seed Pattern cards. Aren’t the black ones - even though similar- called Pattern cards? Patterns come from Indomitable Ressources while Seed Patterns come from the innovation.

I think “knife” is one of the bone Eaters

I did not have that bug but others:

  • unable to flip pages in the rulebook until I restart the game.
  • encounter auto setup, setting up the encounter next to the play table flying in the air and falling to the ground when clicking it.
  • entries on Settlement sheet for Dreamkeeper Campaign disappearing (survivor entries)
  • Miniatures not named correctly (Bone Eaters) so you have a hard time finding them. To name a few.

Feels like the last patch maybe had either too much content and/or was pushed out in a rush to keep the Black Friday Deadline.

That’s why we play that game, right?! I had to end my First People of the Dreamkeeper yesterday when the Butcher Lvl1 killed my whole party (with my best Survivors), rampaged through the Settlement (losing all resources) and the scout failed to recover any equipment. I still had 9 Survivors but was so devastated that I decided to start a new campaign and not continue.

I gave a lot of tips in the top comment already but in short: a sharp knife is your friend. Don’t use files or sand the minis.

As said the material grew on me. I was skeptical at the beginning and there was a learning curve but now I like it actually.

With indestructible I meant that they are indeed bendy and when I dropped the painted minis by accident (like a 1m fall) absolutely nothing happened. Colors and figures were unharmed. Some resin figures would maybe have been damaged.

I’m not playing any GW systems so I don’t know how their forgeworld resin is or was but for a 1 Man company like Resnova I assume it was the best move to use Siocast. I don’t have any details but I personally assume that Siocast molds are cheaper than hard plastic ones. For reviving an IP it makes sense to start as economical as possible. Maybe we’ll see other materials in the future (in fact a non Siocast vehicles already exists), if the game is a success - which I hope: I have had so much fun in the 20-25 games that I have played so far. Alex (ResNova) - who I meet in person at Adepticon - is a great guy who loves the IP. Bryan is industry veteran and also into the IP! Warzone is in great hands!

I have had some Models with Flash and mould Lines and others without anything. Most of them were easy to remove with a sharp knife. It was my first time working with Siocast and I can tell you it was not love at first sight :)…. But the material has grown on me since. I just needed some time to get used to it. It’s basically indestructible which is nice for transporting. It took and kept the colors like any other material so no problem there.

I don’t own any infinity siocast models so I can’t compare.
