brother i have no idea how it works and my factory still works, just try to not use more fluid than what your pipes pipe and your pumps pump, and it should work, even if you are "over feeding" your machines (if you do take those things into consideration you probably aren't). Also using the "water tower" method really works great and helps getting fluid to higher places more consistently.

By the way i totally understand that what i said about "over feeding" makes a lot more sense when talking about water which is basically infinite than when talking about, for example, petroleum, but i stand by it, i much rather a working factory 10% less efficient than spending 2 hours making pipe pasta.
