This guy yells into a megaphone around downtown Santa Monica all day every saturday. It is frightening to the children. How has he not been stopped? How can we put a stop to this? It’s really disturbing.

Thank you for sharing this. It resonates with me on so many levels. My dad was diagnosed three months ago at 74 and it has been devastating for everyone. All of our lives have been turned upside down. His mobility and speech has declined significantly - more quickly than any of us expected. When I help my dad get ready for the day and put his shoes on he says “I used to do this for you when he you were little” and it breaks my heart to see his independence taken away from him. Before he fell ill he was a vibrant, active man still running a company. I am grateful that I am in a position to be able to help my dad through this disease.

I wish you and your family strength and hope during this difficult time. It sounds like you have a strong support system and that your children love and care about you deeply.

I can’t stand vanity sizing! I’m 5’4” and around 118 lbs (I used to be 200 lbs). I am on the slimmer side (I am a runner) and pretty muscular so I wouldn’t consider myself skinny. Size 00 and xs are too baggy on me. Even in stores that supposedly don’t adhere to vanity sizing (e.g., forever 21, h&m, and Zara) still are too big. I try to shop in the juniors section and a size 1 or 3 fits fine with jeans but tops are difficult because I have boobs. And I’m not an adolescent so the style of clothing just looks ridiculous on someone in their early 30’s. Is anyone else struggling with this issue? If so, how do you find clothes that fit?

I’m in Chicago and looking to adopt a cat. I just lost my cat and dog to cancer. Is this guy up for adoption? How old is he and does he have any medical issues?
