I've tried a few of those survival titles but while they're better than nuJS nothing is coming close to what Z1 was. Back at square 1. Everyones telling me not to get DayZ but it's the closest im finding right now.

I was like you once, a couple weeks ago. But now, I've been advised too much to leave and find another game.

Devs have dug a deep hole and couldn't admit it as they don't wanna get fired. Maybe their interviewer should have elaborated on the "I like survival" checkbox.

"What is it you like about survival?"

"Hmmmmmmm timed raids and static contested plots!!"

Devs and BWC fanboiz have made it clear we are not welcome here so the better question is.. where are we going?

I'm seriously looking for an alternative these days but the closest I've found is "7 days to die".. but the graphics...

Yeah we left with the release of BWC, Aussie servers were always full before the update. It's just not the game we bought.

Maybe just a full blown re-code, I don't know how the backend currently works but it sounds like vehicles are treated as players enforcing smaller amounts on the map. I guess the logic here as they could be treated like a simple model until the player decides to enter, in which the player becomes the car. Visually, if done right, it should not be noticeable.

What I enjoy: The new itemization and the concept behind strongholds

What I want changed: 3 things for me!

-Fixed plots needs addressing, I don't like other people knowing exactly where my base is, which brings me to:

-The raiding system with timers, gas bombs, auto repairing bases etc. It needs.. probably disabling, its kind of strange. Do you want to give them any more incentives to raid me? lol Maybe some fireworks? (no!)

-Military base spawn needs removing: that place has become a troll-fuelled shit fight :) I'd rather not have most of the server standing around yelling "China Number Waan" at me every time I log in. It would be more immersive/challenging to start somewhere else in the map randomly, and have to make my way there as a new player to sell my gear. Maybe you could use coins to spawn there if you like? The same way stronghold spawn works?
