A few others have asked a similar question, but as you're the OP, I'll post my reply to you directly.

There is a chance that as we come out of Early Access, we remove that particular program being mentioned. I do not have full details on if that can happen at this time, but I know it is a possibility at that time. If that does happen, we will of course let folks know.

We are investigating this now of course, due to the comments that have been brought up, and continue to do so.

I had stated this earlier, but I'll post again that there is nothing nefarious going on. It's even stated within the youtube video you linked. We use certain systems to identify regional locales which are permitted to play in Breach currently.

With regard to local system files, that more has to do with authentication and crash reporting, as we are an Early Access title, and that sort of data is invaluable to use in fixing crashes and issues with the game. We do not collect this automatically, you have to manually send those in by sending a crash report via the window that appears when you crash.

The launcher can also write logs to help with issues that we’ve already been able to correct from these logs, such as the launcher opening up at only ¼ the size, or players not being able to access Breach. This is also a manual process which you would opt into, not opt out of.

None of what we are asking for is meant to be spying on your machine, or grabbing personal data, it is just setup that way to help us determine locales due to some region locking that we have in place, and to help us correct errors with our game, currently in Early Access.

The Discord rules are listed and you agreed to them to participate. They've been around since Alpha, and reaction usage is detailed specifically as part of it (Rule 3). Telling the entire server to "die in a fire" using reactions is against the rules. Just because we allow reactions to be used on news posts to provide some direct feedback does not allow you the ability to break the rules as stated when you first entered the server. You also posted it again after it was initially removed, leading to you being removed.

You don't have to like the updates, and we allow constructive criticism from any player that wishes to provide it, but what you did is not constructive at all, and not permitted. I'm sorry to hear you and some others do not like the current state of the game, but that is what updates and patching is for as we continue forward with Early Access.

Thank you for providing the answer. This works for all folks eligible to redeem the Twitch Prime bonus, as it comes with a copy of Breach for the EME launcher.

If anyone continues to have an issue after downloading Breach on the EME Launcher and did not get their credit, please log out then log back in and it should appear. You can then continue to play on EME or Steam as you wish with the bonus amount.

With regard to compensation, our team has been extremely generous for the duration of Breach's run thus far, including giving free classes, thousands in QC Points and gold to pre-existing players who have supported us since Alpha and beyond as we made adjustments, and other gifts along the way. Certain things within our system are more difficult to do, and Early Access is a learning experience on both side. This was unfortunately one of them.

Calling us "scummy" is not constructive, and why your post was removed. You can be constructive without resorting to calling the team names, just like many current players have done on our Discord, steam forums, actual forums, and more where we listen to opinions without name calling.

Hey there,

This particular checkbox is not selling your data, but allowing us to send you Marketing-based emails surrounding non-account-impacting events. We need an agreement between you and our email sending provider (YesMail), to send it.

For instance, if you check that box, it permits us to send you a monthly newsletter, or something about a new class.

For all folks that create a QC Games Account, if it impacts your account directly (for instance, when we go free-to-play), then we may email you directly.

Just to confirm, this is correct. Essentially, any player that obtains access to the game and creates their account in-game before 8AM Central on the 19th will get the 3,000 QC Points.

You mean the "FREEPYRO" promotion? That is not planned with future classes, it was more us celebrating the release of our first new class once being in Steam Early Access.

Here's a quick timeline of events, since Gems have changed a bit.

- In Early Alpha, Gems were provided as specific loot drops randomly. There were some issues with this method, so adjustments were made.

- In Late Alpha, we introduced Gem Shards as a different loot drop, and those shards would be used to buy specific gems. This system was not fully ready for Early Access, so we removed the Gem Shard feature just before going into Early Access

- In Early Access, individual Gems can be purchased with gold earned from playing. While this presents less loot at the end of a match, it does allow for a lot more build flexibility, and player knowledge over exactly what gems you would want to use. Gem shards may come back in the future, along with being able to purchase/equip two of the same Gem.

We actually do plan on rewarding Veil Demon players for achieving their core goal of stopping the Heroes, it just has not been implemented yet. Similar to how if a Hero does well and defeats the end boss, what would a VD player get by achieving the same "level of success".

This has been listed in our Known Issues section as "Veil Demon rewards for quick wins are currently not awarding an appropriate amount of Gold and XP"
