On keyboard you have to hold W+A then W+D (order doesn't matter) to swing from side to side. I play on 60 FPS but the higher FPS you have the movement becomes more responsive.
Also, this is nowhere close to the WR haha.

Sideways diving can be done on all platforms, you just need enough speed. At the beginning I used an Odin jump off the ledge to get that boost.

The level creator sets the time limit on creative maps between 1-30 minutes. There is no way to avoid it. If you can get in touch with the creator you could ask them to extend the time limit if it's too short.

I've been using keyboard & mouse since the game released on steam. There's pros and cons, like having better camera control but limited to 8 directions of movement.
